Hannspree HANNS-G 19" Widescreen Monitor Questions & Answers
My Hanns-g HC194D doesn't display anything - just
This monitor is 2 1/2 weeks off warranty. With nothing to lose, I called Hanns-G and they provided a courtesy extension of my warranty. As you suggested, they believe it is probably either a circuit or the power supply. I pay shipping to them, they repair and ship back. Only thing not covered would be LCD screen (1 yr warranty anyway so not expected). I am very pleased with their responsiveness - only need to supply proof of purchase (which I scanned onto system when I bought).
Thanks to louie12fix for an very helpful reply.

1.Check your connections coming from the monitor to the Desktop,Ensure there are no loose connections in the wires.
2.Your computer may be set to dim or to sleep, if that is the case follow instructions.
Windows XP: Start/Control Panel/ Switch to Classic View/ Display/Screen Saver/Power/ If there is a time set to shut down, sleep or dim turn off.
