Are you able to see any available wireless networks?

Make sure the wireless radio is on, the wireless switch should be located above the keyboard, it has the picture of a satellite.

presuming that you have a wifi router somewhere nearby, all you need to do is activate the wireless connection on the laptop (there is usually a switch somewhere on the laptop to do this, you will get an icon appear in the taskbar, right click on this and click connect, you should then get a list of wireless points in the area that the laptop can "see", select your router from this list and click connect, you should be prompted for a security key, this is the access key for your router.

I could be either to do with a loose wire inside the laptop, or more likely a setting on your power profiles. I would suggest going through the advance options looking for a setting which says - when low battery switch off wireless adapter.

Do you have this problem if you try moving to some other spot? You might just be in a bad location for the wireless signal. Or there may be another wireless network on the same channel (a neighbor's, maybe) that is causing interference where you are using the laptop. Sometimes changing the channel setting on your wireless router can clear up the problem. As long as the network name (its SSID) and security key aren't changed, this won't affect anyone else's connection.

The wi-fi card in your computer may have a hardware fault that is causing it to quit operating after some time has elapsed. Thermal problems often behave this way. If there's any kind of warranty still on the computer, have it checked. If it's out of warranty, just get a USB wireless adapter and plug it in. It's less expensive and simpler than trying to repair the laptop itself.

firstly go into your control panel then click on Clock,Language and region next click region and language then click format a list should come up then select the language you want

You should be able to select the appropriate driver download from the drop down boxes on the Acer support site. There looks like there's a few to chose from so it's either a question of trial and error or see if you can get more details as to the exact make/model of your web camera from looking in the device manager within the operating systems control panel or from installing a piece of software such as Belarc Advisor.

You are receiving this error because Setup is unable to validate the Windows image file; it believes it to be corrupt. There are a number of things that can cause this but most often it's due to bad media. Assuming that this ISO you downloaded has a valid CRC check, you should try to :

• reburn media at a very slow rate
  
• use the best media that you can find
• avoid ISO mounting utilities that mount the image as a removable drive
  

If you download the Windows 7 Operating System I suggest re-downloading it from microsoft and try again.

this lap comes with a s-video connector if your tv support s-video buy the cable
also it has a vga port to to connect to another monitor or tv if your tv supports vga buy the cable
in the two you should configure your lap to send the image to the tv in the control panel, if doesnt dot it automatically

The Acer Aspire 4720 Notebook has a hidden partition containing files to restore the system to its factory default. On powering up, press the Alt key and the F10 key together (at the same time) repeatedly and after a minute or so, Acer eRecovery Management should start up. Follow the on-screen directions to do a restore of the system to its factory default. The restoration process will reformat the partition that is the C: drive. After restore has completed, Acer eRecovery Management can be used to create a set of disks for a full back up of your system's factory default image.

The solution for this problem is the "Mosfet" located near the daughter board of the laptop. just replace the "Mosfet" with new one and you laptop will start charging the battery.

JUST FORMAT IT

I would try going to DOS and seeing if the keyboard will work correctly there. This would eliminate any Windows errors problems. Here's a link to a site that has a good explanation of how to determine if you should replace the keyboard. You can also swap out the keyboard with someone else temporarily to be sure. Good luck!

Headphone/ External Speaker Jack is at the front of Acer Aspire 4720, first from the right besides volume control.
