Disassemble washer f21

Hi John - Could the error code possibly be E21? If so, it typically means that the water in your wash machine is not pumping out fast enough. First, check the drain hose for any restrictions or kinks. If you have check the hose and it appears to be clear and free, then potentially the underlying issue may be the main control board or pump. Generally it is a good idea to have a professional take a look at it to get to the root cause. Cost of parts and technical expertise entailed in these types of replacements can be a bit tricky. Thank you for allowing me to assist you.

Washer starts but only runs for a minute or two and doesn't drain properly

Hello Elijah - Based on the symptoms you are describing, you may either have a communication error from the main control board or the timer itself may not be operating correctly. If you noticed a humming noise, it could either be a clogged drainage hose or pump that needs to be cleaned, or it could possibly have another issue with the door lock assembly. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose the washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.

How to clean filter in pump fex831cs0

Hi Janis Belcher - According to the model number posted FEX831CS0 (laundry-center), this unit does not have a filter. Generally speaking, the filters only exist on front load washing machines. The filter is typically inside the hose between the bottom of the tub and the drain pump. If there isn't any debris in the filter or pump, then the unit may not be spinning long enough or may not be reaching full speed. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose the washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.

Water does not turn off during spin cycle

Hi Robert! If a washer unit is not advancing correctly to the next setting or cycle you could have a few issues. The main control board is not communicating correctly to the rest of the unit; the fill sensor and water valve sensor(s) are not operating properly; or the unit is not sensing enough water has been added to the unit. I would strongly suggest to contact a service professional to test all areas of the unit before repairing any further.

All of a sudden dryer will not start

Hello Darryl Jay - I understand that the dryer will not start; however will the display illuminate or allow you to program a setting? If it will not allow you to do so, try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household breaker to the off position. Wait approximately two minutes, turn on the dryer and select a normal cycle. If these troubleshooting steps prove ineffective, you may wish to contact a professional as the unit may possibly have a defective cord, wiring, control board or door switch.

Just bough a used frigidaire stackable unit model FEX831CS and washer makes extremely loud noise on spin cycle. and dryer takes over 2 hours to dry a regular load of clothes. Please help

Hello uucyc1 - From what you have described it sounds like you either have a problem with the washer tub bearing, belt, motor or trunnion (steel bar that secures the inner basket to the transmission shaft). As far as the dryer, long dry times typically are a result of poor air flow. Make sure that the dryer exhaust vent is completely clear and that the unit is not overloaded. I would suggest contacting an experiencing service technician to determine the precise cause to both units.

Washer wont drain

Hello shirley_dods - Is the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose or pump is clogged and needs cleaning. Try setting the cycle to spin cycle only. Will water pump out? If it does not, then the washer could possibly be experiencing a communication error with the control board, faulty pump, timer or door lock assembly. At this point, I recommend connecting with a professional to accurately pinpoint any potentially more serious issues.
