If it is an electrolytic capacitor look at the top of the capacitor. It should be flat. If it is bulging up replace it. some will change the color of the plastic wrapper too. Other styles of capacitors need special test equipment like an ESR meter to locate a failure.

Check the sleeper timer is not on like 30,60,120 Mins.Turn the sleeper function off,should work.Not,go in ur tv menu,go to PICTURE,go down to reset the tv Tuner board,the setting will go back to the factory setting.

U will not find schematic,the tv corporation don't release them.Just take the tv aparts.Tries Websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.Just compare the power supply board in ur tv and the website that selling the power supply board.The picture look alike,ask the seller questions.Just buy and replaced it.U know how to solders?Just searches around the power supply board for those bulges and puff up capacitors.Replaced these capacitors will get ur power back.Most just reqiure replaced these capacitors to get the power back.
