Well first I trust you removed the USB stick! I would say that some software clash occured and the best way I know would be to try and get to setup or initial set up and then use factory reset to restore its software to default. Should this fail then as a new set refer back to the seller for help as they have a duty to it for repair. As for that memory stick was it blank or have pictures on it? has it got a virus? or other software that may clash. In my view it should be formatted by the tv if it is for recordings or just carry images that your tv can support like say .jpg files other software programs could be a problem for it. Reset your unit to factory settings. Follow this instructions :
1. On your remote control press the "menu" key.
2. Press the "right" key >.
3. Select "set-up" by pressing the "down" (v) key. Then press "OK" key.
4. Select "shipping condition" by pressing the "down" (v) key. Then press "OK" key.
After this go to menu again then select the set-up but this time access the tuning menu and then auto set-up to set all channels available in your area.
Your done, Exit to. Checked if the unit restore factory settings.

If you have another TV fed from the same antenna, I assume you have a splitter/distribution amplifier because you know you cannot just join two cables together don't you? It is more than likely the splitter/amplifier, cable or connections rather than the TV but to make sure you must move the TV in the other room and try it on the suspect cable before condemning the TV. Signal problems are usually due to water ingress and this could have happened on just one cable. Failing that, the TV input could have failed. It is not common but does happen now and then.

This has to do with the network & not your TV. For various reasons the networks may vary the overall time of programming, therefore you should schedule your recordings extending the record time.
