Fisher and Paykel DD605SS Stainless Steel Dishwasher Questions & Answers
What brand of detergent should i use
I have had good luck with the powdered dishwasher detergent from Wall Mart's brand Great Value.
Before I switched to this brand I had to clean the washer drawer several times because the detergent I was using was not dissolving properly and would leave a residue in the bottom of the drawer and on the dishes.

Open the top draw. On each side of the draw at the bottom / front, is a clip that releases the rails that the draw slides in and out on. Press the clips in to release and slide it back (into the machine as if you were closing the draw). Do this one at a time and then lift the draw slightly and rotate the draw anti-clockwise direction (due to the plumbing) and lay the draw on its left hand side. The draw is out!

Hi
Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due
to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that
the drain going towards the bottom is not clogged and remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is
present then check the drain filter and
drain pump for any clogs, you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump
completely. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller &
clean the chopper assembly. Hope this helps...

Machine displaying f1
The F1 error refers to 'internal flood.'
You may wish to reset the power of the unit, this may clear the error code.
One
common cause is too much or 'wrong' detergent causing too many suds. In
this case, giving the unit time and a reset is all you need to do.
You
may wish to check under the unit to look for a tray with a widget
floating in it. If you find such a tray, empty it & cycle the power
to reset the F1 error.
I hope that helps.
Drawer wont drain and motor noisey
Remove the bottom strainers and make sure that there is nothing obstructing the outlet pipe and the pump. If possible back flush through the outlet pipe and try draining the machine again before using it again.
