This sounds like a lazy lamp--that is getting hard to start. Try a new lamp first. If you are inclined to do so--get a bard bulb and install in the old lamp housing and save some money. Get a real PHILLIPS bulb--it will last a while--compared to cheap generics that are good for maybe 6 months !!

Same issue on my 55 inch Samsung DLP tv. Browsed youtubeand found 3 suggestions...tried all 3 together, don't know which one (s) worked: 1. After UNPLUGGING power cord and removing lower back panel and carefully removing bulb(1 month-old bulb -don't touch glass) thoroughly and carefully (using only plastic/rubber non-metallic vacuum attachments) vacuumed fans and all cavities- also used long, narrow feather duster for narrow spaces and fanblades. There's a hidden fan that I could only get to by sliding out a circuit board on the right side...don't touch metal parts and may have to disconnect a wired plug or 2. Be sure you know how to pinch connectors to pull them off and be sure you are capable of reconnecting them. 2. Inspected little blue switch that moves down when bulb entry door is installed. Dusted and vacuumed it and made sure it worked correctly when reinstalling the bulb door later. 3. Reinstalled bulb carefully, making sure the screw was installed tightly. One youtube guy said sometimes removing and reinstalling the bulb is all you need to do if the tv turns off by itself. Set works fine now, but can't say which things helped, but after 8 years, there was a lot of dust that could have interfered with the cooling, so vacuuming was a great idea.

The tv problems and causes are 100% is the tv colors wheel it is causes and the tv problems.The tv are having humming or loud buzzing noises sounds are the causes of the tv colors wheel going off and out control of it motor mount and spinning in at high RPM speed and different colors showing up or flahes of black and white color in the tv back ground.The tv colors wheel must have to be replace.Best hire a tv tech to do the replacement of the tv colors wheel,because have to take out many mechanicals parts before can even come to the tv colors wheel is self to replace it.

Check ur tv it is not on mute mode.Try go into tv menu go to Audio Seting reset every back to factory setting.Check ur tv Audio Setting is it not on VARIABLE setting.Must be on FIX setting to able to used tv internal speakers.These steps should help tv get audio back.

I dont think you can. The time on there does not matter, if the bulb is going it, it is going out. It does not go out when it reaches the bulb life that i know of. If it does i have never heard of it.

The first thing to do is disconnect ANYthing that is connected via HDMI and then use the component, composite or s-video inputs and see what happens. If it works ok then most likely what ever is connected to your TV via HDMI is causing the issue (it does happen). The second thing if that doesn't solve the issue is replace the lamp if its getting really dar and has never been done before. If the emmisions of the lamp are low (darker picture) the set thinks the lamp is not on and will force a restart..Please take a moment to rate my answer...Thanks

Does these LED indicator lights that blinks?It is one of the LED light said lamp or bulb?The tv been used alots,and it at lest 2 years.U have not change the tv lamp or bulb to this tv?Change it,life of the lamp it over.

Check your TV Lamp. Most likely its gone bad. Its easy to change and readily available on the net. If lamp is okay,' check the fans next to it. Also buy an air duster can from walmart for about $ 4 and blow clean the lamp area before you intall a new one. It will ensure long life of your new lamp.

Hi,
It sounds TV needs new lamp as existing lamp seems weak but not dead or broke and causing these symptoms.
Did you replaced lamp recently in tv?
If not, replace it to fix tv problem.
Lamp is available in Part Store and replacement procedure would be written in user manual that is very easy.
