For Samsung Refrigerator SR-L629EV my freezer

If there is no cooling at all on the fridge section but the freezer works then it is confirmed that the compressor and gas pressure is OK. Now shut off the fridge and leave it powered off while you clean and check the evaporator for frost. If frost is seen it is a good indication as the compressor is working with sufficient gas within.
Now after about 6 hours plug in the fridge to start. Observe cooling to happen in about one hour and ice to from under three hours.
Earlier make sure that the thermostat was set to normal mode for freezer and fridge.
However if ice forms in the freezer then observe the fridge for about 24 hours for cooling to continue and the fridge to cut off . If not the auto defrost timer, or the thermostat must be checked. Frost formation without defrosting could block the air flow and so shut the air passage to the fridge. Also the blower fan must work and if this is not working then the fan can be faulty. Also a fault on the control unit is a suspect to non functioning of any one of these components.
If defrost timer works but frost keeps forming check while the compressor shuts if the heaters are working, check continuity of the heaters.
So try this test using a multi-meter on the defrost timer and the thermostat and make your observations so that we come to the solution.

Samsung refrigerator has a 33e code flashing

That sounds like a power glitch. Try pressing and holding the power freeze and power cool buttons at the same time for about 8 to 13 seconds and see if it clears. If that doesn't do it, let me know and I'll dig up the Fast Track on it.

How do I regulate temperature

Hello,

Purchase an appliance thermometer that is specifically made for refrigerators and freezers. These special thermometers were made to withstand cold temperatures and provide an accurate reading when exposed to such temperatures.

2Place the appliance thermometer in a glass of water.

3Set the glass of water with the thermometer in the refrigerator on the middle shelf.

4Check the temperature on the appliance thermometer after 24 hours.
The temperature should register between 37 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit (2 and 4 degrees Celsius) in order to store food safely.
Only barely above freezing -- say 34 degrees Fahrenheit (1 degree Celsius) is even better for food storage at the cost of slightly higher electricity consumption. But check that food is not slowly freezing in any part of the refrigerator, which could make it less palatable.

5Look for the temperature control dial inside the refrigerator if you have to adjust the temperature, and make it warmer or cooler.
If you can't easily see the control dial, check the owner's manual for a diagram that shows the location.
When looking at the refrigerator temperature dial, you may see numbers rather than degrees. The majority of refrigerators use a set of numbers, with the lower numbers representing cooler temperatures and the higher numbers representing warmer temperatures.

6Move the temperature dial in the necessary direction to adjust the temperature up or down. Be sure to move the dial only one number in either direction because it probably will not take much to change the temperature in the refrigerator.

7Adjust the temperature balance control if your refrigerator has such a dial or sliding switch. This allows you to direct more or less cold air to the refrigerator section from the freezer section.

8Wait at least 24 hours, and then check the refrigerator temperature again.

9Observe the amount of frost in the freezer section of the refrigerator if you are unable to properly set the temperature.

10Defrost the freezer if the amount of frost is more than .25 inches (.64 cm) thick.

11Repeat the steps as necessary until the temperature is within the safe range.

12Use a permanent marker to draw a line on the dial after you locate the best setting on the refrigerator temperature dial. This will give you a reference point in case your dial moves and needs to be adjusted in the future.

I hope this will help in solving the problem.......

The refrigerator portion is freezing ice on back wall, and the temperature is running itself upto 54. We have unplugged it and hoping it resets itself or something.

If you've got ice on the back wall but 54 degrees in the front of the fridge, that points to an air circulation issue. Ensure that there is air blowing out from the back of the fridge where the ice is, and also make sure that you don't overcrowd your fridge.

Interior lights not working on Samsung Refrigeration.

My samsung rf265ab did the same thing after I was cleaning it and the door was open for an extended time. I noticed the the light bulbs looked good and also notice 2 tiny black buttons between the light bulbs. They were slightly extended. I pushed both in and when I opened the fridge again the lights were working. Don't know if I fixed it or just a coincidence.

My Samsung RF265ABWP French door

Is it getting water? If not, Most likely water valve is faulty and not letting water through, or feed tube through back freezer wall to ice maker is frozen which would be caused by dripping valve. It's either the valve or the ice maker not sending voltage to valve.

I have a new 4

the front supports are threaded to allow for the adjustment and levelling while you want the appearance to be in line with everything else, the next complaint will be that it is not cooling properly or the door will not close properly unfortunately fridges do not come with a self closing door and people are forgetful and that is why it is best to have a slight slope to compensate for forgetful people and yes it is good old cheap gravity

How do you put a spring into the vertical hinged section?

Best way is DO NOT use the spring.Use a common elastic at the bottom of the folding flap run around the flap to a short small screww you would drill into the plastic under the door. This lasts longer than the spring and when it gets tired, just replace with another elastic, lasts for years and works better.

I only having display on my display and compressor, evaporator and condenser fan not working, what can be problems

Fridge not starting? CLICKING? FIRST ALWAYSCHECK FORpower at the outlet, checkfor 120 volts. MAY HAVE A BAD START RELAY OR CAPACITOR ON THE COMPRESSOR , CAN BUY A INEXSPENSIVE 3 IN 1 HARDSTART KIT AND BY PASS THEM , NOT THAT HARD TO DO, COMES WITH INSTRUCTIONS> BY THE WAY DO U HEAR ANY CLICKING SOUNDS FROM COMPRESSOR? BUT U MAY ALSO WANT TO CHECK UR COLD CONTROL THERMOSTAT IF IT GOES BAD U MAY GET A NON START ALSO HAVE IT CHECKED FOR PROPER VOLTAGE AND OHMS RESISTANCE WHEN IN THE ON POSITION A BAD DEFROST TIMER though seldom CAN SHUT DOWN COMPRESSOR HAVE IT CHECKED WITH MULTI METER. to check the defrost timer, u can get by and test manually by placing a small screw driver into the tiny slot or hole underneath the timer and turn slowly clockwise till u hear 1 click. this will engage ur defrost cycle in about 15 minutes u should be able to come back and feel the heat in freezer as it melts the ice providing ur terminator is not bad? Another way to test it is with a multi meter. Remove timer it from fridge and you will see 4 prongs numbered 2,1,4,3 in that order. Place ur meter prong on prong 1 & 3 (if your fridge has a capacitor wired in series with the windings, then u check for micro fares rather than OHMS) If u cannot confirm this test, still try the next. Take ur meter prong and connect to prong 1 & 4, it should read resistance or ohms ( closed) now remove prongs and place on prong 1 & 2, this should now read infinity or open (no ohms) now take a small screwdriver place it in the tiny hole or slot under the timer. Turn it clockwise slowly till u hear 1 click. Now ur 1& 2 should read closed ( showing ohms or resistance) now place meter prongs on 1 & 4 and you it should now show open ( or no resistance - no ohms) this is how u know ur timer is good, Remember when testing for ohms ADJUST meter to use a high ohms rating in the thousands as the resistance is very high in OHMS. And adjusting to low ohms rating may give a false reading or not show the proper resistance.. Some fridges are now using ADC boards. Designers are using microprocessors (on solid state circuit boards) to adapt defrost intervals and durations to compensate for differences and changes in operating conditions. Such techniques are calledAdaptive Defrost Control, commonly abbreviated as ADC. They are normally found in same locations as the timer would be but look somewhat different in appearance. It is more difficult to test these units without the appliance schematic. Some ADC / control boards control other functions of the refrigerator, too, such as icemaking and electrical air damper door opening and closing. The defrost frequency may also be shortened under certain circumstances. AT TIMES YOU MAY HEAR THE COMPRESSOR CLICK OFF AND ON OVER AND OVER. Signs of a bad start relay or capacitor. Check with an OHMS meter for continuity (ohms) and voltage, capacitor can be checked for Microfares. ( if in series with the windings) If you hear your compressor "short-cycling" (starting and stopping at short intervals) try jumping across the two leads of the cold control thermostat ( in the fridge compartment) with an alligator jumper. You can also check both for live voltage current and ohms- If there is a greenthirdlead, ignore it for this test; it is the ground wire. If the fridge starts running constantly, the cold control is bad. Replace it. To check ur compressor with multi meter: Disconnect and remove the relay and capacitor from compressor, sometimes located next to compressor in a casing. You wills see 3 prongs coming out of compressor. 1 goes to ur start winding, 1 goes to ur run winding and the center goes to ur ground or COM Place ur meter connector or prong on the start prong and the other on the ground (center prong) take note of the reading in OHMS for example 5 ohms. Next place meter prong on run prong and the center ground prong agin. Take note of the reading in OHMS. Example 4 ohms Next place meter prong on the start prong and the other on the run prong, now take note of the reading example 9 ohms. Now match the total of this ohms test with the total of ur two separate test. 9 ohms, if they match ur ok give or take 5 percent plus or minus. One more test to make to test of there is a short in compressor attach meter prong to ground prong and rub the other end of meter prong to metal ( scrape the metal clean of paint and test on metal surface not painted surface. If it shows continuity or ohms, u have a short in ur compressor. It should show infinity God is so good: so this is why I give free advice so please thank him not me. TO REPLACE RELAY AND CAPACITOR WITH A HARDSTART KIT YOU CAN USE A 3 in 1 start kit for compressors sizes 1/4 through 1/3 HP. And a 5 in 1 for higher H.P. (BE SURE TO MATCH WITH UR COMPRESSOR MODEL NUMBER AND TYPE) The kit includes relay, capacitor, and overload device, pre-wired. The kit will replace all 3 electrical components on capillary refrigeration systems. For newer systems with a run capacitor use proper kit. For smaller horsepower compressors useTJ90RCO810. The wire set up is as follows the red wire goes to the right side of compressor prong, the white wire to the left side prong, the black wire to the center prong, and the 2 other black wires go to the power and the ground connection http://www.appliancerepair.net/refrigerator-repair-1.html Refrigeration System Basics Chapter 1

The "ice maker off" light is on, it went on when I was cleaning the surface.

Look on page 20 of the Owner's Manual for directions on turning the ice maker on and off. Pressing the far left button (button #1) toggles the ice maker on and off. 26297831-oqohpjkn4w5xpl25m5ra3xvd-2-0.jpg
