LG WM2455 Front Load Washer - Page 4 Questions & Answers
The washer is not filling
Hello
When the washer wont fill at all then the issue is either with a bad water inlet valve or clogged inlet screen. Please check the water line for any clogs/obstructions and try cleaning the inlet. Hope you understand that you might require water inlet valve replacement if the problem is still unsolved after cleaning. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Bleach Dispenser not relaesing bleach during cycle
I have the same model # and same problem!!!
Worked fine for few months and then it started.
Sears technicians came twice but couldn't fix the problem. Now they have ordered a new dispenser door. Sears said they changed the design. Will see if the new door will work. Hope that helps.
I have an LG2455h front
There should be 3 screws at the very bottom of the bottom panel, Remove panel there should be a canister shaped screw top. You can unscrew that. That is your filter before the water pump. Make sure you have some towels ready. Good luck!
Need to replace them on my lg washer
Shut the water supply valves off and put a bucket under where they connect to the machine. Unscrew hoses one at a time and look into the opening of the valve. You eill see the screen filter. Remove with needle nose pliers, clean and re-install. Do the same with the other hose. Re attach the water hose and turn the water back on. Check for leaks and then test.
When I attempt to begin the cycle and select a
When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:
It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.
It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water.
but if timer and cold water supply is fine.then it means motor is locked and it is almost always accounted for an out-of-order Hall Effect Sensor. Other causes includes defective Main Board and broken wiring harness.
To check the Hall Effect Sensor:
- Unplug the machine.
- Remove the top plate assembly by unscrewing the two screws on the back of the top plate.
- Look for the Main Board assembly on the rear left side of the machine.
- Remove the power connector and sensor switch assembly.
- Remove the Main Board assembly protection cover by releasing the latches along its sides.
- Look for the 4-pin white connector with white, gray , red, and blue wires. It is the wiring harness going to the Hall Effect Sensor. Disconnect it from the board.
- Using a multimeter, check the resistance between the white and blue wires and between the white and red wires. Resistance should read about 10k ohms.
- If either resistance reads open, check for a broken wiring harness and repair or replace as necessary. Otherwise, the Hall Effect Sensor is defective and must be replaced.
- If the tests above show that the Hall Effect Sensor seemed to be good, you have to check if the Main Board delivers 10 to 15 Vdc supply to it.
- Reconnect the machine to the power outlet.
- Press POWER but DO NOT PRESS START.
- Set the multimeter to DC volt and measure the voltage between white and gray wire terminals on the Main Board. Voltage should be 10 to 15 Vdc. Otherwise, the Main Board is defective and must be replaced.
- Connect the red test lead to the red wire and the black test lead to the gray wire.
- Turn the motor rotor slowly by hand.
- You should measure a pulsating 10 Vdc if the Hall Effect Sensor is okay.
- Repeat the step with the red test lead connected to the blue wire.
- If you measure a 10 Vdc but not pulsating, the Hall Effect Sensor is defective and must be replaced.
you can get required parts from

if not familiar with doing this then a local appliance repair technician is advisable.-------

LG Washer WM2455H Tub Clean Problem
Yes, it's normal. It is a safety feature because of the hot water used during the tub clean cycle. It prevents the machine from opening while the tub clean cycle is in process.
