Honeywell ER150B Air Conditioner - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Hitachi DC Inverter Scroll Compressor have a startup problem. when i start the unit the compressor start a voice of " Tak, Tak , Tak rasie and after 30 Second the compressor trip, after few minutes the compressor again try to start and again Tak, Tak, raise and compressor trip. please somebody help me about this issue.

probably low on freon. i assume compressor is running?

Keep heating mode and temp setting at minimum 3 to 4 degree C* between room and required temp.If still not working, replace the heating sensor.Tnx

Hi, if the button has tripped, this is normally due to a problem, as this is a safety. But it may also be that the button its self is faulty if the unit is running properly. You must make sure you have no other problems going on such as high head pressure in system by washing out the condenser coil, checking motors, looking over the electric connections for any signs of burned spots ect. You can just simply take the wiring at the reset button and bypass it to run, but if you have a problem you are unaware of, this will cause a problem. What I would do is write down your model and serial numbers, kill power to unit...., remove this reset and take it to any retail appliance parts house to get one that will take its place. Just about any kind will work if the voltage is correct and amperage, even if it will not fit the hole or not. You can mount it any where inside out of the weather, just make sure you draw a diagram when removing it so you will remember how it goes back. If the new one trips right away, you indeed have a problem in the unit and will need to find it. You can do this by process of elimination to see when it holds when you disconnect a componant. Higher number, Warmer. Lower number, cooler.

you need a 15/20 degees split difference from your supply and your return...

your compressor is not running for some reason setting thermotat to 65 does not make this unit cool any faster

press "run prgm"....then adjust to what function and temp you want...then press"hold"

Check your air filters and replace if necessary. Check the indoor and outdoor coils and clean if needed. If the line is still is freezing get the refrigerant charge checked.

Sounds as if the compressor has gone bad. The blowing of hot air and then the fuse blowing lets you know the compressor is pulling a lot of amps causing the fuse to blow and no cold air could mean the compressor is locked up and therefore you need a new compressor.
