Good Morning Friend, I understand that your Electrolux dishwasher, model# EDW5505ESS, will not start and the control panel seems to be dead. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker, for 20-30 minutes. Once power is restored, if the panel is still not lighting up, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician. I do not suggest trying to repair it yourself. There could be something other than the panel, which is causing the dishwasher to seem dead. Most likely one side or the other has a bolt or fastener that gave away. You will have to take the door off to see what is going on in there by the hinge point.

My dishwasher electrolux built in unit was leaking, turned out to be the plastic nut inside on right hand side where water feeds the top rotar was loose. I actually took side off and found it running down inside and flooding out the feet and sides. Solution in my case was to wrap PTFE around the threaded section and rescrew nuton tightly..Problem solved. Simples.

1. To cancel the delay.press the delay pad again when the delay is counting down. The indicator light will go out and the cycle will start or resume immediately.
2. To cancel the delay and the cycle, press Start/cancel once to drain and turn-off the dishwasher.
3. Press Start/cancel twice to turn-off the dishwasher without draining.

i think that is engaged via a _(i can't think of the word.. it's a points set that works off an electro-magnet) if that got stuck then it will keep the pump engaged in the drain mode.. otherwise it's an issue with the settings.

It could be anything. They have a diagnostic brain that creates beeps or codes, but never hear of one that beeps 120 times. You can try power cycling it. Remove mains power for 2 minutes and try again. If that doesn't fix it you will need a service call. If it is the control board, you may consider a new machine is a better option.

Hi, Please pour soap and/or toothpaste at the bottom of the washer. This should unclog any drains that the dishwasher uses. And you can also remove any debris present at the bottom of the dishwasher as well. Otherwise, you need to schedule a home depot repair appointment please. Thank you.
