FrancisFrancis! X1 - Stainless Steel Espresso Machine Questions & Answers
FRANCIS Francis espresso problem..just barely coming out..
Try removing the metal grille from the machine. I don't know the term, but it's held in with a single allen screw on the underside of the machine. Don't use the allen key that FrancisFrancis provide, it's made of soft metal and useless. Buy a decent one.

To clean it, I put it into a cup and soaked it with Mr Muscle oven cleaner, left it for an hour, and then scrubbed it clean. I ran a sewing needle across the back to help clear the pinholes.

You need a ground coffee adapter, these are available from various sites online. Do a web search for X1 ground coffee handle and you'll find one. Make sure it's the right one for your machine (check to see if you have the aluminium or brass boiler version)
Just found this site - It's in the UK and I'm not sure if you are but they will probably export to you.

More than likley its your brew head gasket that is leaking. Take off the 4 nuts you hust tighten and it exposes the brew head gasket. Make sure that you put the chrome piece on the same way you took it off. Clean the head good before you put the new gasket on or you could have trouble.
I would check ebay.
X1 trio makes huge shots, at the 3rd position it
Hi
The trio is set up for pods. There is nothing wrong with it. The positions on the brew head are for different shots. The 3 rd position lets a lot of water through, and the 2nd one lets less and the first one lets the least water through, and makes the strongest coffee.
