In most refrigerators there is a drip pan underneath that captures condensation and allows it to evaporate. Possibly your drip pan is missing or improperly installed so that the condensation is dripping onto the floor. Check your manual, or find one online. Usually you just have to remove the grill from the bottom of the fridge to get access to the drip pan.

Remove the control board and check the back for burn spots. If it appear good it probably is. Replace if burnt or soldier burnt pin back to board or replace. If good, jump the line terminal and defrost terminal(bottom left of board) with an insulated jumper you can see the defrost heater glow red hot at vents in the freezer bottom.

Is there frost in the back panel of the freezer section? Is there air being blown from the freezer side to the refrigerator side? Do you hear the freezer fan running? I have some tips you can check out first then you may need a tech out if they don't help. There could be a problem in the defrost system restricting air flow, a problem with the damper door stuck closed not allowing air to move to the refrigerator side or a problem with the compressor. It looks like your model doesn't have an internal filter. In some cases the board and or adaptive defrost board may be located on the back of fridge. there will be a plte covering it, as for evaporator coild they cnnot be covered in insulation but will have a plastic cover that has to be removed to get to them. u wont have a timer if u hve an adaptive defrost board. as per utr problem sounds like a defrost issue, in which case check heating element, defrost terminator, and make sure evap fan is working also, lastly check manual timer by setting it to defrost , wait 30 minutes then check to see if ithe fridge ts back on showing timer is working. if its adaptive board instead of timer you need specil tools to check it. Also check to make sure compressor stays on during cycle and not clicking isound n back? see pics

Does the problem move with the drawer when you shuffled them or did it do the same thing in the same position? If it moved it's the drawer causing the issue, if it stayed in the same place it's the freezer itself. Empty the offending drawer and have a good look at it. A lot of front panels on freezer drawers are a 'push on' fit so check the front is clipped on correctly on both sides. Next check the runner rails and back panel of the area that drawer goes into. It might be something as simple as a lump of ice or something stuck to the side/back or a something in the drawer above or below blocking it.

unplug it, empty it and defrost it then restart. This sometimes fixes the problem.

Yes, you can disconnect the ice maker on a Hotpoint CTX21GA refrigerator. Here are the general steps to follow:

1. Unplug the refrigerator from the electrical outlet or turn off the power at the circuit breaker.
2. Locate the water supply line that runs from the back of the refrigerator to the ice maker. It is typically a flexible plastic or copper tube.

2. Locate the fast freeze flap at the back of the freezer compartment. This is usually a small plastic or metal door that can be opened and closed.
3. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws or clips that secure the fast freeze flap in place.
4. Carefully lift the fast freeze flap off of its hinges and set it aside.
5. Take the new fast freeze flap and place it in the same position as the old one, making sure the hinges are aligned properly.
6. Secure the new fast freeze flap in place using the screws or clips that you removed earlier.
7. Close the freezer compartment door and return any food or items to the freezer.
