Sounds like cooling coils inside ref. that cools the water before the dispenser in the door.
These coils are in the back bottom of ref, behind crispers. They may be leaking.

could be you dispenser water solonoid valve, its on top, back of fridge behind panel

Could be a fan needs oil or replacing. Find a fan outside and a fan inside.

uSUALLY A PLUGGED OR CLOGGED EVAPORATOR DRAIN LINE IN FRIDGE OR BAD DOOR SEALS WILL ALLOW MOISTER ANS AIR TO CONDENSATE AND MAKE THE WATER PUDDLES

DURING Summer time you will find fridges run longer. When the last time you had the condensor cleaned. Pull the fridge our and remove rear cover at the base. Make sure your fridge is unplugged. Use a brush and vacuum to clean the lint. watch for condensor motor and clean between coils.

check if anything is in the way

Up is up and down is down...... What numbers is it changing back to? If you hear a fan that is good. Do you hear any 'clicking' by chance? It is possible that for this, you may have a bad thermistor, but more information and or possibly an error code would help much more.

Can you confirm your model number? I see what says that your model is a JFC2089HE above your post but knowing Fixya the model number there is automatically placed there and is most times incorrect, Thanks John Tripp Appliance 911

No. You should look at the start capacitor and the overload switch on the compressor. The defrost timer may have it shut off too.
