EliteGroup NFORCE 570 SLIT-A Motherboard Questions & Answers
I replaced the memory and turned the computer on
Assuming you tried putting the old ram back and had the same result?
No beeps are indicative of a failed Power supply (check the PSU fan is working and the CPU fan is turning), Then check the ram modules are firmly inserted. Check the small 4 pin Black and yellow power rail that powers the cPU is tight.
After that, unplug, remove the CMOS battery, leave for 30 seconds and re-insert, try booting now.
If that fails, you have either got a fault on the mobo, or a dead CPU.
Testing the board with a known good CPU will confirm the latter.
Check the motherboard for blown and bulging capacitors, see if you can smell any burning from the board, either will indicate damage to the motherboard
I have a NForce 570 ****-A. I went on vacation and
Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty
One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive
Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA
the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they are probably old and faulty ?
hope this helps
I cant get the system booting process.
Reset your bios settings pull cmos cell from motherbord for 10 minutes then put it again it's position .Then pull out ram then refit again it.
then check .
If still issue then Change ram may be your ram has issue.
if after change RAM memory same issue then you have to repair your motherbord.
Also check key bord num lock key if it on and off after satrt computer then it is screen resolution issue.
For that when you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in enable vga mode .
Then change display proeprty settings change scren resolution to 1024*768 then aaply and ok.then check.
Also refix processor and processor fan .
Clean all dust from mtherbord and all parts.
Got a trojan
You will have to run a full Virus Scan in safe mode with an Anti Virus program with up to date Virus Definitions.
Tap the F8 key on boot to get to the boot option screen that will allow you to select "Safe Mode", then select your operating system, then click yes on the pop up. Once in safe mode locate your Anti Virus program in your program folder and run the full/complete scan and that should fix you up.
No video output
I'm glad resetting the CMOS fixed it. (Posted as solution so you can rate the response.)
The system boots up the moment power and becomes unresponsive.
Try resetting your BIOS.
To do this, depending on your board, there will be a small battery. Make sure the power connector is removed, and then remove the battery from the board. Wait 30 seconds, and then reinsert the battery, taking care to make sure it is in the right way round.
Try powering up your computer again, and see what happens. You will almost certainly have to reset the clock afterwards, however the computer should automatically detect the drives, allowing you to reinstall the operating system etc.
If that doesn't work, then it sounds like you have a failed motherboard.

The system fails to boot up after a new power supply was added
There should also be a brand - the nVidia just relates to the chipset that the board uses, but its OK, lets check the wiring first. If we still have trouble I'll get you to double check for the brand name.
Lets just check that you have the following plugs in place:
- The 24 pin plug from the PSU (blue) to your motherboard - this powers the board itself.
- A 4 pin 12v P4 connector plugs into the motherboard (near the CPU). This is the CPU power. It runs from the 8pin blue socket on the PSU. Make sure that the end plugging into the motherboard is only 4 pin.
- No power cables required to run the 8600GT so the red sockets on the PSU are empty.
- Power cables going to all your peripherals (hard drives and CDroms). These run from the black sockets on the PSU.
Does your current setup match that?
SATA drive stops or hangs . . .
Hi fadetoal, it's not you or you're drives. It's the onboard SATA controller. When a board is SATA compatible & the bios does not see the SATA drive (List the SATA drive), the fault is the board. You're board goes one farther than normal. Bios see's the drive but can't run. All you're going to do is pull you're hair out trying to get the board stable. Hope its still in warranty.
