Is there a way to stop the burn-in mode on a lg tv

In the Menu, there should be options to disable or change how the TV handles burn-in, which might be called Anti Image Retention of something like that.

I have a lg 37lb1da tv that is flashing red blue green when you turn it on

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Back light comes on but nothing happings

The backlight is on and just glowing screen?
First, look at the screen in darkened room to see if you can see any slight glow from the screen, if it does, then the problem can be the T-CON (not getting the 12vdc) or the main logic board not feeding the signals to the T-CON board. if not, next place to check will be the power supply module, make sure it has 24vdc which is required by the backlight inverter to work, the reason for not having 24vdc can be from bad DC filter caps (leaking/bulging top, high ESR) or short circuits in the inverter board which will cause the 24vdc supply to go into shutdown mode, so you may have to disconnect the power cable that feed the inverter board to see if the 24vdc will work without the inverter board hookup, you will need to apply about 3~4 amp of load to the 24vdc to make sure it can handle that. There are fuses on the backlight inverter boards also. So there is some troubleshooting you will have to do to find out the causes of the problem you are having. Our LG 37LB1DA is scrolling through channels

I have seen problems similar to yours in the past. Several causes can make the channels change by themselves. Some corrosion on the main board near the channel up/down switches for one. The next common cause is that the EPROM may be failing or a fault with the main control processor. A good test to see if the EPROM is having a problem is to program in all the channels off the cable and then unplug the TV over night and then plug back in the see if any channels are missing.

I have a LG dvd player 5083 inserted the disc the correct way into the draw but the machine does not play the disc a very slight humming noise is heard then it spits the drawer back out

Clean the Lens: Use a DVD cleaning disc to clean the lens. If the problem persists, consider professional cleaning. Test Other Discs: Try playing different DVDs to see if the issue occurs consistently. If it's specific to one disc, that disc might be the problem. Check for Updates: Make sure your DVD player's firmware is updated. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for firmware updates. Try a Different TV: Connect your DVD player to a different TV to see if the noise disappears. If it does, the issue might be with your TV. The hum is simply the player trying to read the disc. It can't so, it spits it out. Remember that prolonged use of a malfunctioning DVD player could potentially cause damage. If the problem persists, consider seeking professional repair or replacement

LG Plasma TV is not displaying picture when it is turned on

This is the Power Board for it. check those 6 electrolytic Capacitors on the right for bulging or splitting. Don't buy it blindly, it's a guess. The output voltages with a digital multimeter. https://applianceparts.com/item/10217204/LG/EAY62812602/ Many parts are obsolete. eBay has used boards, but they are risky because they are out of scrapped sets. https://www.google.com/search?q=50PN5300-UF+power+board We have a television expert named Larry, but I haven't seen him for a while. How do I program my DVD video remote control to my LG Blu Ray surround sound player please?

It can't be done. The DVD remote will be single frequency for that device only and the LG remote for that LG Blu Ray (or series) only. Companies don't make cross-control between makers easy. The only exception is cable and satellite boxes to allow their remote to also control the television. If you have lost a remote or it doesn't work, this is the answer https://www.fixya.com/support/r29872378-universal_remotes_no_facsimile_remote ..
