htc sensor isnt working i would recon perhaps the element isnt getting power did it trip your circuit breaker some times the htc fails all you get is machine stop because the heater is not detected if it spins rinses and empties in a timely manner then all thats left is the heater system

You may have to unplug it for about 15 minutes and try again. I had a similar problem and this helped.

This should take 30 minutes: Remove the panel that is located below the front door, there are 3 small screws located at the bottom that hold this... you will see the water pump, which has a access screw plug. Unscrew this, its like a filter, you may see stuff, like coins, socks, etc, remove and clean out, then put everything back... this should fix the issue.Before you re-fit the filter check to see that the blades of the pump further inside are turning well - no blocks. IF you take the panel off the is below the door, there is a drain plug and you should take it out. YOU will get lots of WATER. Be ready. Clean this out and try again. The issue is most likely the water solenoid valve is bad or the board that controls it is bad. You can also find the tech sheet when you look for the drain. It has all the tests that you can run.

With these part numbers, you should be able to find them online. They will be listed as Whirlpool or Whirlpool OEM parts. If you add a comment with the problem that led you to have a technician look at the washer, I will confirm which board is which. I suspect part 6 is the B board but I'm not certain of that.
