I have a kenmore model 110,5142510, SER C60420403 water does not come out sounds like motor wants to run but it doesn't do anything
It sounds like there may be an issue with the water inlet valve on your Kenmore washing machine. The water inlet valve controls the flow of water into the washing machine and it could be that it is not opening properly, preventing water from entering the machine. Another possible issue is with the water pressure, the water pressure may be too low.
It could also be a problem with the lid switch, if the lid switch is not functioning properly, the machine will not start. This switch is located inside the washing machine and is activated by the lid. It is designed to prevent the machine from running if the lid is open.
It's also possible that there is a problem with the motor, which is preventing the machine from spinning.
It is recommended that you contact a professional to diagnose and repair the problem as these are complex machine and it's better to be handled by a specialist.
I have an E24 message on my Kenmore dishwasher - model 630.1390
The E24 error code on a Kenmore dishwasher model 630.1390 typically indicates a problem with the drain pump or the drain hose. This can cause the dishwasher to start adding water but then shut off and display the E24 error message.
Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:
- Check the drain hose for any clogs or blockages. Make sure the hose is not kinked or bent and that it is properly connected to the garbage disposal or drain.
- Inspect the drain pump for any debris or foreign objects. Clean out the pump, if necessary.
- Check the air gap on the dishwasher. Make sure it is not clogged or blocked.
- Inspect the control board and check for any error messages.
- Power off the dishwasher and unplug it for 10 minutes to reset the electronic control board.
- Make sure the dishwasher is level and that the legs are adjusted properly.
If the problem persists even after trying these steps, it might be best to contact a professional technician for further diagnosis and repair.
Kenmore stackable washer/drier. Water doesn't drain out.
Kenmore stackable washer dryer doesn't cycle (doesn't advance to water fill or wash, drain, rinse, spin) (not spinning, draining, filling?) After the video, we learned it was the points in the timer. It wasn't the black "electrical plug", being plugged into. Get your serial number and google Kenmore timer and you can order a replacement timer. Even if you still have someone come out, you've still saved a bunch!.......ps....I had a viewer make a good point!; I obviously didn't have any issues, but obviously be careful with electrical panel and any loose wires!
Bar support spring location for a kenmore model 385.17824090
The bar support spring on a Kenmore model 385.17824090 sewing machine is located at the back of the machine, near the top. It is typically attached to the back of the sewing machine with a couple of screws, and it helps to support the weight of the sewing machine as you work.

If you are having trouble finding the bar support spring or are unsure about how to remove the cover from your sewing machine, it is always best to refer to the owner's manual for your specific model. The manual should provide detailed instructions for accessing and replacing the bar support spring.
My Kenmore 500 will fill with water but after it fills the water won't shut off.
If your Kenmore 500 washing machine is filling with water but the water won't shut off, it could be caused by a few different issues. Here are a few things to check:
- Water inlet valve: The water inlet valve is responsible for controlling the flow of water into the washing machine. If the valve is faulty or stuck open, it may cause the water to continue flowing even after the machine is full.
- Water level switch: The water level switch is responsible for detecting the level of water in the machine and shutting off the water when the machine is full. If the switch is faulty or not functioning properly, it may cause the water to continue flowing.
- Wiring issue: There may be a problem with the wiring or the electrical system that is causing the water inlet valve or the water level switch to malfunction.
To determine the cause of the problem, it is recommended to bring your washing machine to a professional appliance repair service for further diagnosis and repair. They will be able to test the water inlet valve, water level switch, and other components to identify the source of the issue and recommend the appropriate repairs.
