Sounds like ur power on button may be shorted, u can check it with a multi meter, for continuity when pressing down it should show continuity. and none when released, To test it you can jumper the 2 wires together and see if it runs when plugged in? if not its ur push start button other wise I would think maybe the control board is bad

Without further information, I can offer three possible issues: 1. The fill value is furred up and is not fully closing (diagnose this by turning off the water after use at the isolator valve - and if no water is getting into the drum overnight, then it is a filling problem and you needn't read on - as opposed to a draining problem in which case read on!) 2. If you have a long drain hose running along the back of kitchen units, perhaps it is running back into the machine 3. Have you installed anything else into the same drainage pipes - such as a waste disposal unit or another appliance - that may be pushing water down the drain so fast, that some returns into other connected appliances? When you say unplugging/re-plugging it allows it to work for a while, please explain - do you mean it works for a few minutes, it for a few hours or for a few washing cycles/days? Does it stop part way through a wash, or once started will it always finish a wash before failing again?

This dE error or fault code to indicate that the door is not latching properly. Check the lid or door operation to be sure it's not binding and that the door alignment is correct. Also, check the door/lid hinges to be sure they're not binding. Finally, make sure the door catch is in place and not broken. You may need to replace the door hook/catch or the door lock assembly.

Remove the screws that attach the top panel at the back of the machine, slide the top backwards and remove the top panel. Run the machine as per normal, but be careful as the electrics will now be exposed, you will be able to see where the water is leaking from and be able to repair/replace defective part.

Take out the soap drawer and clean the fabric softner compartment. This happens when there is residues left. And it gets clogged up.

The obvious question is how do you know that it is soap? What washing machine is it? The biggest problem with most washing machines is that people use too much soap to begin with. I would go to a store and get a new t-shirt or something. Run the machine with nothing in it. Then put the shirt in and run it again without adding any soap. When it is done check the shirt for soap. There could be a build up on the inside of the drum.

Take a really good look at the circuit breaker box inside, because a broken or loose ground wire ( there are two) can also cause this problem. One ground wire should be white, one should be bare. more often than not, this is a problem with a faulty heater in the machine not getting it up to temperatre (which help the powder dissolve). Put it on a 90 degree wash and keep checking the temperature, if it's not getting hot, then you need to swap out the heater. Ift IS getting hot, then it could be an empty pump problem. If the pump or waste pipe are blocked, the wash will take a very long time but it will be struggling to evacuate water and add fresh, which will also causse powder residue to be left behind. But I'd put my money on a heater fault

something is blocking the pump.unplug first.take drain hose and hold down at floor level with a container to catch water.it may be a coin or a wire from a bra,hair bobble etc feel in the pump to see if the impeller is free to move.if it is then suspect something in the hose between drum and pump like a sock.that restricts flow enough to put up fault code

Hi Elaine258, you may need to take a look into it from the top, the soap, softener dispenser may be catching. Fairly straight forward to do, disconnect from the mains, two fasteners at the back hold the top on (if I remember right) lift top up from back and push forward, vvwalla. Hope this helps.
