Discoloration on clothes

I don't believe it is your machine as much as it is your water needs testing. You might have too hard of water. Possibly rust, calcium, fluoride, or chlorine. Your PH could be too high or too low and your water could be acidic or more likely alkaline. Alkaline water will definitely create anomalous water staining.

How to repair the doggettes

Pop off the cap on top of the agitator. After you've done that, you'll see a bolt head down inside the agitator. Grab a socket wrench and the appropriate size socket and remove the bolt. Then, lift up on the agitator and it should come out. Then, remove that piece that the head of the bolt you removed was holding down. That's where the doggits live. You should be able to figure it out from there.

My WHIRLPOOL ultimaTE II WASHER IT FILLED WITH WATER BUT DIDNT SIN OUT IT WORKS ON ANY RINSE CYCLE BUT NO SOUND OR ANYTHING ON SPIN CYCLE

Sounds like a clogged pump or outlet hose. They're pretty easy to check/replace, but you will spill a lot of water if you don't have a locking hose clamp. The cabinet comes off from the front, (after loosening the control panel, unplugging the lid switch, and popping the spring clips behind the panel), so you should have a good amount of room to set the cabinet aside, but you'll then have easy access to the workings, with the pump and outlet hoses right in front.

Whirlpool cabrio washer

Looks like the motor is having a hard time starting. Try changing the motor capacitor, it jump starts the motor. It is cylindrical in shape aluminum color, sometimes black or may even be plastic white. Also, if it is not a direct drive, inspect the drive belt it could be worn out.

How to remove the top part of the agitator of a roper model ras8445kq0

Often agitator tops do spin somewhat freely, for safety reasons. Most of the work gets done at the bottom, anyway. Unless your clothes are getting tied in knots, I wouldn't worry about it. But if you want to look, they're usually not that hard to remove. I can't picture yours off the top of my head, but look for a cap/cover/cup on top that can be removed by hand, and there might be a bolt underneath that. There's usually a lot of friction in addition to the bolt holding it in place, so you might use an old towel slipped under the agitator and cinched to give you more leverage/grip. Good luck.

How to uncouple drain hose from top load washer

If your washer's model number is LSQ9549L, grab a pair of vice grips, go behind the machine, squeeze the clamp which holds the drain hose attached to the water pump exit port, and pull the hose off. You might want to put a towel on the floor before you pull the drain hose off
