No dial tone phone jack tested ok phone rings

This is caused by a failed wireless signal transmitter in the base station or a failed wireless receiver in the handset, these phones are not repaired unless they are under warranty, so all you can do is replace it, this is the #1 PROBLEM WITH ALL CORDLESS PHONES.

First of all, thank you very much Jessie for choosing FIXYA today for your online technical support needs. I'm Joe, and I will be more than happy to assist you with your service request. Here is a direct link to the ONLINE USER'S MANUAL for that model:http://shop.clarityproducts.com/media/ext/products/assets/C410_UserGuide_RevF.pdf To view the Owner's Manual with Operating Instructions just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and blue highlighted section of text just above. This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated and the contents of the Owner's Manual. Once the instructions load, then use the + and - icons in the toolbar at the top of the screen to zoom in and enlarge the text size as necessary in order to view the instructions. You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents, although many computers already have this utility pre-installed. You can always download this for free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary. Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there, then follow the onscreen instructions to install the software on your computer.Be sure that the battery is properly installed in the handset and that you fully charge the battery in the handset before attempting to use the phone for the first time. This may require leaving the handset in the cradle to charge overnight. Also be sure that the phone jack that you are attempting to use is active. Try plugging a known working standard corded phone into that phone jack to confirm that it is live. Please COMMENT back here to this page if you have any details to add, have any questions, have difficulty accessing the links, or just require further general assistance and I will respond as soon as I see it. If you were satisfied with the service provided, could you please take a moment to leave a 5 STAR rating. Your feedback is very important and I truly appreciate your consideration. Be sure to use the small blue ADD A COMMENT button located just below the text of this solution to leave any additional comments for me regarding this particular issue and I will respond right away. I truly hope that was helpful to you. Good luck and take care. Joe.

Loud static

Remove the batteries let them discharge over night. Place in chargers for 24 hours. If still static unplug all phones from all jacks. Plug in a phone...a different one from the cordless ones. to make sure the static is not on the line. You can then try to replace the rechargeable batteries or get a new phone.

For unknown reasons, I have a signal like a rotary phone when I dial. This is totally new today. When I press menu/select, all I get is the list of callers.

BRETT DUXBURY gave you an excellent answer... (Except DTFM is really DTMF (Dial Tone MULTI- Frequency (as opposed to MF which the "network" USED to use to signal between central offices )))... GENTLY roll your "CLARITY" over and look FIRST for a "PULSE - TONE" slide switch... Failing to find that the ACTUAL model number is going to be YOUR only FREE advice option. (unless you can locate your OWN owners manual... Try your model number on the internet... (my favorite site here in the USA (lookie here)). ManualsLib Makes it easy to find manuals online Hope this helps... Carnac the Magnificent
