voltage=120vac,resistance= appx. 20-40 ohms as every defrost heating element has some different ohms, as long as its close to this youll be o.k. make sure to check the defrost terminator in series,and check it when its cold or it will read open,also,if the voltage isnt at 120vac on the element or shows low its because the terminator is open,and your showing a "ghost" voltage,also if no voltage anywhere in these areas it can be the defrost timer or A.D.C. thats bad

Your refrigerator as cooling tubes that allows the cold air or the freezer to go to the refrierator side. If one becomes blocked with frost all the cold air is then forced to route through the other cooling tube. And that what it sounds like is happening to you.

dear Bill if its a no frost refigerator sounds like you might have to take all the drwars out unscrew or detach the back plate and defrost the fridge manually and then unblock the drain hole which goes to the back of the fridge into a plastick container ontop of the compressor which in turn will evaporate from the heat of the compressor . OK, remove the cover on the face of the ice maker and let me know if the model look like this picture: If it looks like this model, I have the service manual for it with all the testing procedures.If it doesn't, see if you can get a model number off the unit. Hello, check the freezer sliding door rail. Removed everything in your freeze then gently slide out the freezer door. Check the bottom of the freezer for food items that may have dripped into the bottom of the freezer. Now, the check the roller rails along each side of the freezer there could have been widget that got smash by the roller on the freezer door, if you find this smashed widget--he not drunk--he is dead. Scrape the those roller rails and clean the and get all the globs,ice cream, widgets, pieces of other different types of freezer flub.Next, set a level on the freezer door and see if the bubble is point forward, if not then screw up the front two leveler in the front of the freeze--one on each side in the front of the freezer/refrigerator. sound like you have a bad gasket or the door for the ice maker is stuck open.. use a flashlight and in the dark withe the door open shine the light up the door and see.. jay fl

There is no reset on the ice maker. Look at page 18 of this manual for testing the unit.

This is an error code for the icemaker fan motor. If the control does not see a signal coming back from the fan motor you will get this error code. Please see the image below from the service manual that explains the ER IF error code. CLICKThe ER IF code indicates a failure of the icing fan. You may notice slower ice production but the other fans should be okay.You can select the ultra ice option and see if the fan toggles on.The fan or the control is bad.

If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water.
If it continuously drips, replace the water inlet valve on the back where the house water supply comes in.


Ice maker water not stopping
The water inlet valve may be staying open. You can swap the wires on the dual water inlet valve and disconnect the water line at the valve which goes to the ice maker. When you try the water dispenser the water will come out there. When you stop the water dispenser, if the water at the valve doesn't stop, the valve isn't closing so you'll need to replace it. If it does stop after trying it several times then the problem is with the ice maker.

Hi.

Error ff (er ff) means defective fan detected. Before calling support or before replacing the fan try performing a complete defrost by leaving power disconnected for one day (remove food from inside the unit first). That will fix the problem if the fan was temporarily malfunctioning because of ice formation. If that does not work the fan must be tested before replacement.

The ice maker not working: ---

Its the problem of water inlet valve. It's a dual valve. This valve has two tubes in it. One for water dispenser and one for ice maker chamber. The one side of valve is working, but other side of the valve is not working. The valve is got stuck in one position

Its defrost problem, the freezer should cool, then freeze, then defrost cycle should start. In your case freezer is cooling, then freezing, but its not defrosting. That's why fridge section is not cooling.-------

I dont have diagram, but there is a line on the vacuum pump that comes off and loops back around to the pump. I don't know why but it's supposed to be there.

Another line comes off and goes to the vacuum canister. From the canister there is a T and two lines. One goes forward to the HVAC controls. The other goes to the PVH (Pulse Vacuum Hublock) solenoid on the firewall forward of the pump. From the solenoid another line goes down to the axle where it hits a T and one line goes to each hub.

Test it and keep us updated.

Door switch needs to be trouble shot or replaced

The problem can be temperature not set properly or any of fridge or freezer door not closed properly and cool air is getting leaked out. These are basic possibilities which first need to be checked. But if these possibilities are checked ok and still the problem is same, then its weak compressor issue.
