Hello, After a long wait I finally purchased my unlocked Nokia N73 while on a trip to the Middle-East. I decided to enhance my perfectly working phone with an update from the Nokia web site. I installed the newest firmware on my PC, started the download process until I moved the usb cable and the phone powered off and would not power back on. I was told the firmware update did not complete and someone needs to reinstall software. Nokiausa won't help since the phone was not purchased here in the USA,and I cannot find anyone that could help me!!

I have changed my lock code wich contain 5 digits but I forgot it how can I solve this proplem. please help me
THE NORMAL WAY TO RESET THE SETTINGS IS GO TO SETTINGS THEN GO TO PHONE THEN GO TO RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS AND IT WILL ASK YOU A CODE PUT 12345 AND PRESS OK IT WILL RESET YOUR SETTINGS PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO BACKUP YOUR DATA NORMALLY IT DOES NOT GO AWAY BUT JUST TO BE ON SAFE SIDE.HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU

i forgotten the code for my N73 cell phone,when i switch on the phone,i have to enter the code to activate my phone,now i have forgotten the code and how do i unlock my phone? the handphone shop is asking for $70 to refresh the phone and unlock it and it takes 3days. is there any other way that i can get to unlock the phone?

just give me your mobile no IMEI no ,just check your mobile bill ,you will definitely find your IMEI no on it..just provide me your IMEI no and i will give you unlock code...........

Do all the msgs and videos and data which automatically get stored in the lifeblog application in Nokia N73,affect the phone memory or the memory card? I am facing a problem where my phone memory is actually full without apparently having any data. So am not able to receive or send new msgs, inspite of my messages folder being almost empty.Can someone help please?
Hello friends....
u dun need to panic, here's a very simple solution!
The phone memory drops basically coz of LIFEBLOG DATABASE file. You need to have some Explorer Software to access this file. Either install X-plorer v1.22 or Y-explorer etc etc.
Then follow these steps:
1. Go to C:\Data\Lifeblog\Database
2. You will find a file lifeblog.db, it is because of this file whose size varies. Usually it stays around 1 mb but sometimes it goes upto 20mb + driving out whole of the Phone Memory.
3. Try deleting this file.
4. In case it gives a message that file cannot be deleted coz it is in use by some application, then go back to folder.
5. Rename the "DATABASE" folder to any other name. Now you will be able to delete "lifeblog.db" without any error msg. After deleting that, rename the folder back to DATABASE.
Here you go....ur problem is solved!

my n73 says "memory full. delete some data." so i checked my phone memory. then there, it says my memory in use is 47mb. then my free memory is 162kb. 4kb in calendar, 8kb in contacts(but my contacts is empty) 25kb in messages(but my inbox is empty also and there's only 4 messages stored in my folders) 0kb in images, sound files, applications and video clips..then 117kb in documents. what should i do?
need some help here. tnx!

how to flash nokia N73
you can flash your N73 by using the normal data cable also but your cell must be in working condition for that ...
if your cell is in working condition then you do that by following these below given steps :
1. make a back up of all your data in cell and remove memory card ..
2. download the "nokia software updater " from the nokia website. below is the website given for you:

3.install that and keep connected to internet it will automatically download and flashes and installs the new firmware for your cell .
remember dont disconnect or switch off the pc or remove battery while the process is going this may severely damage your cell and it may become unrepairable ....
if your phone is not working presently means then you can buy a DKU series cable which allows you to flash the phone,reset any codes,etc ...
if you dont like to buy then you can just visit some service center and get the cell flashed ... as you are also from india it may cost you some just 200 or 300 rs that s it ...
