Very easy....your phone is Cloned....your ex has been in the cell phone field for 10 years or so, he has the know how. Pay attention to this, does your phone ever hang-up on you by itself? Like if you hd press the end button? Or it would ring and no one is at the other end?
Best Solution: Get another phone...tell the VZW rep about this. They might replace for free....because this would show their service/network's enferiority.
Alt. Solution: Find someone with my experience and fight fire with fire. Clonning is a FEDERAL crime!
With the new phone, do not let it out of your possession again. All this person needs is the ESN on the back of your phone, your phone number and the MIN number...and you will be back to square one trying to justify with you currnent man.

while holding phone upright in you hand look on the side in the lower left corner - open the "tab" This is where you charge the phone with both a wall outlet & a car charger.
okay you need to type the last four digits of you phone number which was the original code upon purchasing the phone, then press the pound button right after. type the four dgits and then immediently the pound sign. you might have to try it a couple of times before you get it. this is how many people are able to use locked phones that are stolen. my friend who works at a verizon fios taught me this when i locked and forgot my passcode.
I had the same, or a very similar problem. What happened with mine, was the sensor on the upper right corner of the phone was getting blocked. It is supposed to sense when you have the phone next to your face and then it will darken the screen, Mine had plastic that was obstructing it. Hope this helps.
If you feel like you can handle taking your lg phone apart, you can replace the flew cable that connects the two sides together. This solved my blank white screen and camera issue. The cable cost me 10 bucks on ebay (you can find better quality cables through other sites for 20-30$) and took me 10 minutes to replace. It was fairly easy. Here is a link I found during my searches for solutions that help me in the disassembly of my phone. http://www.flickr.com/photos/62518627@N00/sets/72157594234137363/with/213271687/
Press *228 and then press 1, that resets your code to the last four digits of your number. If you dont know the phone number enter #4357*4357 and it will give you the phone number.
