Hpw do I get rid of cisco quest from coming on my >computer screen?

Cisco Quest is a cloud access system, if you disable it you may loose your access to your desktop storage, apps etc. Have a look in your start-up applications to see you can disable it temporarily, to see what effect it can have. Type in "msconfig" in the run box to access the start up applications list.

How to remove mac address from router

Need additional information to be sure I'm answering your question, but ... The simplest way to remove a MAC address from a Cisco router: 1) Display the MAC addresses that the router has cached
  • show arp
2) Identify the MAC address and associated IP address that needs to be removed For example, let's say the MAC address is 0003.6d1b.4c41 and the IP address is 10.10.10.26: 3) Tell the router to remove the MAC address by calling out the IP address
  • clear arp 10.10.10.26
You can verify that the MAC address has been cleared by repeating the 'show arp' command

How to make a Peering Request

When a network gets to a certain size, it is worth to start peering. As a rule, no money changes hands in a peering relationship. All over the globe there are Internet Exchanges (IXes) that help people who want to peer connect to each other. Smaller networks commonly want to peer with everyone, but big networks only want to peer with other big networks. The goal of the peering request is to make it easy for the other party to say "yes" as possible. Key to successful establishment of peering partnership is respectig peering request etiquette. The first rule to respect when emailing peering requests is using a subject line like this: "Peering request from Me (AS65700) to You (AS64939)". Your message must explain who you are and why peering with you is a good idea. Learn more about peering policy in the article Peering Request Etiquette .

Change to a better mo tum, I have Dishnet and ooma phone and I need to upgrade to a better motum , anyone have any suggestions to how I can get better calls?

I believe this says "I would like to change to a better modem. I currently have DishNet for TV and home phone service and I need help achieving better phone calls." From what I read Dish bundles your service "with our notable partners" and doesn't provide the phone service direct through their equipment. Maybe for VoIP but I didn't read anything on that. Based on the limited information provided... assuming you have a cordless phone, I'd attempt to determine if you have interfance happening from another device (microwave, WiFi, etc..) or just buy a new cordless handset.

SInce you have a Cisco Router you will have to go to your web browser and type the following URL 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 and enter the username and password. The default user should be admin with a blank password on most Ciscos. Once in look for the settings and config menu and from there you can disable the DNS proxy.
