How long it got no picture problem? Do you get sound in tv while it wont show picture?

Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors.These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable,and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
Hoping this work out in solving the problem.....

Hi.Maybe your television have problem in power supply.I there it is loose connection at the power supply section located at the right side at the back of your television when you open the back cover.

First ensure that the signal reception from your local cable provider is not the issue here. Ensure also that the cable plug is properly connected to your tv.
If the symptom still persist after you confirmed that the signal is good from the cable, this is an indication of faulty tuner in the main board. This is responsible for processing the viewable channel available.
Analog/Digital Tuner : part no. (EBL34917003)
Replaced this part and your unit will get all the channels again...

Make sure that it is on the right input for what you are trying to watch, whether it be a DVD or cable.

YOu need to verify that this is actually the TV and not the source. Cable, satellite systems (upstream of you) are the more likely cause, which you cannot fix.

test with a DVD, or PVR recording.

The loud pop has been made by an electrolitic capacitor that literally exploded - almost surely it's on the power source board. Since you still have some form of control over it the capacitor must be situated on the high voltage section of the board and surely there are others that are close to failure in there. Open the tv, locate and replace all the failing or failed capacitors. Tutorial on how to do it.

You need to get in touch with Lg and they will help you. All you need is for them to either post you a usb with software or they can email it to you and you can put it on a usb and put it on your tv via usb port and update the software on your tv.

The frequency for the new channel is not on your tv but they will give you the software to update so it works.

Yes you can replace the screen. The idea may not be cost effective. You can probably purchase the same TV at the same cost. If you would like to replace the screen, I would suggest you look for the identical TV. A garage sale, pawn shop or a TV repair shop for one that is available for salvage. You will have to be patient. These TVs are still new on the market, and demand is still high for salvaged parts. Just be patient.
