Kgrs807sss put new igniter in, still doesn't

Trace the wire from the igniter to the spark module. Make sure it is not broken or pinched between the frame of the range. If so, this can cause the problem your having. Hope this helps.

My Kitchen Aid Gas Range

The problem is with the time keeping unit. You will need to reset the unit. Unplug it for 30 minutes then plug it back in. If that does not work then check for bad ground wires that are not fully grounded on the unit. If you find a problem and need to order the part you can order it at repairclinic.com
Note some times it cannot be turned off so to Interrupt the power to the display turn off the power for 30 minutes via the switchboard power to the house as it may be hard wired. That should reset the error.

Thanks for using FIXYA

My kitchenaid architect series II gas range is

In most cases, this is an indication that the Electronic Range Control (ERC) is defective and needs to be replaced. The ERC controls all the features of the oven, so without it, you cannot turn the oven on or regulate the temperatures. You can attempt to reset it by unplugging the range for at least 30 seconds, first. Or you can try disconnecting each wire from the ERC and reseating it (one-at-a-time) to ensure you have good connectivity. However, if the problem persists you will need to replace the ERC.

If parts are required, you can purchase on line at the following websites:

searspartsdirect.com
appliancepartspros.com
pcappliancerepair.com
repairclinic.com

Use whatever parts source you like, but I have found these websites to be reliable, offer great service and the prices are usually cheaper than retail. The prices will differ between sites, so shop around for the best deals.

If the model number you have this listed under is correct, the part number for the ERC is 9762794. The cheapest website I could find it was on the Sears website for about $158. (Not a cheap part no matter where you look for it).

To replace (if necessary), follow these steps:

1. Make sure the appliance is unplugged.
2. Remove the screws that hold the back of the control panel in place.
3. Take note of the wire color coding BEFORE removing any wires from the ERC. Most control boards will have the colors printed on the board by the terminals. If yours is not listed, either write the wire color codes down or use a digital camera to ensure you note the proper placement of the wires.
4. Remove the wires from the control board and the screws that hold it in place.

NOTE: Most ERC boards do not come with the overlay (This is the plastic that covers the facing of the EOC with all the features on it). Remove the old overlay from the old board if you wish to reuse it and install it to the replacement board.

If you have questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

KitchenAid KGSS907SSS00 Oven. After self cleaning the oven I get error code F3E3 about the meat probe.

Question edited for clarity and add Maker. Question moved to maker category. Number 1 Tip, never ever use the self cleaning feature. It only exists to break the appliance and create the need for parts and service calls. The temperature is just too intense for the parts. A self-cleaning or pyrolytic oven is an oven which uses high temperature (approximately 932 °F (500 °C)) to burn off leftovers from baking, without the use of any chemical agents. KitchenAid Stove KERS205TSS 2 light issues.

The issue with the oven display light and the oven light on the KitchenAid Stove KERS205TSS 2 may be related. The problem with the oven display light could be due to a faulty control board or a malfunctioning light switch. The control board may need to be replaced if it is not sending a continuous signal to keep the light on. On the other hand, if the light switch is defective, it may not be able to maintain a connection to keep the light on. The issue with the oven light staying on could also be due to a faulty light switch. If the switch is stuck in the "on" position, it will not turn off even when the door is closed. This can cause the bulb to burn out prematurely and waste energy. To fix this issue, you may need to replace the light switch. It is possible that both issues are related and caused by a malfunctioning control board. If this is the case, replacing the control board should fix both problems. To fix these issues, it is recommended to contact a certified technician or an authorized service center for KitchenAid appliances. They will have the expertise and tools necessary to diagnose and repair the stove safely and effectively.

My kitchenaid range model number KESC307BALOO is showing an error message 5A 66

That is probably the SAbb code; the Sabbath mode has been set. This mode allows you to heat a meal while fulfilling the "no work" requirement for strict observance of the Sabbath. The oven will stay at the programmed temperature until you change the temperature or end the Sabbath mode. To end the Sabbath mode, open the oven door and press and hold 6 for 5+ seconds. Then close the oven door. Searching Kitchenaid's support site, https://www.kitchenaid.com/service-and-support/manuals.html , I found the manual for the KESC307 ranges here: https://www.kitchenaid.com/content/kitchenaid/en_us/searchresult.html?term=KESC307&tab=clp&plp=&plpView=grid&clp=kesc307 . The direct link to the manual is https://www.kitchenaid.com/content/dam/global/documents/200308/owners-manual-9754287-RevC.pdf . See page 18-19 for the information on the Sabbath mode. You can completely disable the option on the range by following the steps in the manual. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells
