You are absolutely correct... IF AVAILABLE... (few OLD refrigerator parts are) refrigerator parts are usually sold as functional parts. I have seen ... and I am sure if you look long enough... ONE DAY you will find some business that is able to inventory EVERY REFRIGERATOR part ever made... Stock, list, sell & ship... and still make a profit. As for me... I would be THANKFUL to find my parts. l have spent weeks trying to get an intelligent RESPONSE ... out of "1st Source Servall" Customer Service Representative... It was more important for "Nancy" to argue with me about part numbers... (their cost $172.. (I think: never got answer)). I finally caved... ripped out the motor... and looked it up on eBay $22 USD ... and 3 days later the MARVEL 6RFI is working fine again... 2.3W 1300 RPM 115V condenser fan. I am just saying SEARSPARTSDIRECT was(in my opinion) the worst... "1st Source Servall" just pushed them off of that pedestal. I recommend eBay... If you have more TIME than MONEY. ELSE... buy that assembly (and be very happy to get it). Carnac the Magnificent

Check the Ice Maker itself (not the bowl). Is there ice cubes stuck in there? If so, that means that the ice is stuck and the the "pusher" doesn't have enough force to drop them into the bowl.

Check the relay switch. It might be bad and need replacing.

how do you know it is short? In most countries it is against the law to just refill the refrigerant you have to find the leak and fix it make sure it holds pressure then u can weigh the exact amount into it. You also have to Vac out the system before adding referigerant and also change the filter dryer if the system did indeed go short of gas

button.

Style 2: When you use the dispenser, the lever will automatically

turn the light on. If you want the light to be on continuously, you

may choose either ON or NIGHT LIGHT.

ON: Press the LIGHT button to turn the dispenser light on.

NIGHT LIGHT: Press the LIGHT button a second time to select

the Night Light. The dispenser light will automatically adjust to

become brighter as the room brightens, dimmer as the room

darkens.

OFF: Press the LIGHT button a third time to turn the dispenser

light off.

The dispenser lights are LEDs which should not need to be

changed. If it appears that your dispenser lights are not working,

that is normal as this is where the hot freon flows through,if everything is ok as in temps and defrost your ok

When you cleaned the coil underneath did ya notice that their was air being blown out their by a fan,having clened the coil was a good start but if the fan by the compressor isn't running that divider between the ref/freezer will be hotter than normal( its normally warm and thats ok),so check that the condenser fan is running and that it seems to running at a good speed.

Most refrigerators have resistance heaters around the door seals to keep down condensate and "sweating "during the summer. Check your model to see if there is a manual moisture control switch inside.You would then be able to turn them off in winter.If there is no switch, then the fridge automatically sets the heaters and you're good to go.

What you are hearing is the fresh food damper. It sounds like it stuck open or stripped. You should have a tech look at it. It could stick closed and make the fresh food section too warm. Ihope this helps.

only light i could find is the filter light . and the main light 40 w appl globe the control does not use a light . the main light reflects in the control panel to give back light . the filter light is for filter only . and is out if filter is ok .. .hope this helps mm

The filter status light will help you know when to change your water filter. The light will flash and change from green to yellow. This tells you that it is almost time to change the filter. It is recommended that you replace the filter when the status light changes to red OR water flow to your water dispenser or ice maker decreases noticeably. After changing the filter, reset the filter status light by pressing the button. The status light will change from red to green when the system is reset.
1. Press the eject button to release the filter from the base grille. 2. Pull the filter straight out. 3. Turn the cap counterclockwise to remove it from the filter. IMPORTANT: Do not discard the cap. It is part of your refrigerator. Keep the cap to use with the replacement filter. 4. Align the ridge on the cap with the arrow on the new filter and turn the cap until it snaps into place. NOTE: You can run the dispenser without a filter. Your water will not be filtered. Simply insert the cap all of the way into the base grille and rotate the cap until it is firmly in place. 5. Remove the protective covers from the O-rings. Be sure the O-rings are still in place after the covers are removed. 6. Push the filter into the base grille. The eject button will pop back out when the filter is fully engaged.

Wobbly door handles are the result of loosened screws / bolts. ON side x sides, there is usually trim above and below the door handles that can be slid off away from the handles to expose these screws.
