Where can i get a network adapter device driver?

Click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark ! ? you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled. Make sure your antivirus program is not blocking the internet connection. If you are trying to connect through a modem/router you it should have come with a disk then you might have to connect the usb lead to your modem to get a connection then Click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to network adapters should see a yellow question ? exclamation mark ! or a red X right click install drivers. The driver might be on the disc supplied by your ISP internet service provider or the motherboard disc You only need to check the BIOS if you cant install the driver Make sure you Ethernet/internet is enabled in bios restart your computer during the boot up process you will see on your screen a certain key to press to enter set up (BIOS) press and hold that key to enter bios using arrow keys navigate to integrated peripherals look for SiS On Chip Pci Device press enter scroll to SiS 10/100m press enter make sure its "Enabled"ima Click start type cmd press enter you will be in DOS mode type in ipconfig press enter you will see all of your internet connection details type in your default gateway adress into your internet search should read something like 10.0.0.138 or you could download one http://download.cnet.com/driver-complete-rar/3000-2112_4-210081.html http://download.cnet.com/802-11b-g-Atheros-Wireless-Lan-Driver-7-1-0-90-zip/3000-2112_4-162108.html if these drivers are not right http://download.cnet.com/2000-20_4.html on the homepage you will see a search bar type in you want/need HP network driver

Logitech camera what is it

Its a web cam Click start control panel view devices and printers you should see your webcam from there if you are have trouble with your webcam Click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll down image devices you could see a yellow question mark? right click to reinstall drivers or update driver xp Click start right click on computer select properties device manager scroll to image devices expand right click to update driver in W7 http://download.cnet.com/2000-20_4.html on the home page you should see a search tab just type in what you are looking for IE: webcam name webcam driver you might have to try a few times to get it right software if you dont have the driver you will need to download one here rather doing a driver hunt which can take hours http://download.cnet.com/slimdrivers-free/3000-18513_4-75279940.html Windows XP/Vista/7/8 It might take some time being a freeware driver solution note: it will find all of your outdated drivers this is a free driver solutions This will automatically search for and find the correct driver you will have to update every driver individually once you update you might be asked whether you want to restart or make a system restore point click no to both of these then continue updating each driver free then restart once all of the drivers have been updated Some webcams and programs require additional software, although that should be installed with the webcam if things are right. But is does not harm to check if your Java, Flash and Quicktime software are installed and up to date. But certainly check your DirectX software, since all video applications, including webcams, use DirectX for video processing. Try downloading the latest DirectX version and install it (Windows XP: DirectX 9.0c - Windows Vista: DirectX 10). http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Which-version-of-DirectX-is-on-your-computer Hope this helps.

Input not supported

Keyboard ? Make sure the Ps 2 or the usb lead connections are secure (if applicable) Make sure the batteries have charge and are getting good contact (if applicable) Try blowing out all of the dust from your keyboard using a fine air blower from an air compressor or a can of compressed air making VERY sure there is no MOISTURE in the lines. dust causes static which causes lots of problems with a computer and its parts If this does not fix the problem Click start control panel keyboard hardware make sure you have the right keyboard selected or you might have uninstall the keyboard then restart your computer then reinstall it and its drivers Click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll to keyboard you might see a yellow question /exclamation mark ? ! or a red X right click update driver if your computer came with a motherboard disk the drivers could be on it.

Rather doing a driver hunt which can take hours

http://download.cnet.com/slimdrivers-free/3000-18513_4-75279940.html

it might take some time being a freeware driver solution

Note: it will find all of your outdated drivers

You will have to update every driver individually once you update you might be asked whether you want to restart or make a system restore point.

Click no to both of these then continue updating each driver free then restart once all of the drivers have been updated.Hope this helps.

After a power failure i am stuck in a loop and

In all likelyhood you the operating system has become corrupted. As long as you have not upgraded the operating system, or installed it from a windows disk you can do a full factory restore. This will wipe out all data and set the computer up like it was when you first took it out of the box. To get to the restore partition, watch the initial HP splash screen, there should be a function key you hit to boot to it (F11 I think). you will want to chose the full factory restore, and will be asked to confirm you choice a couple of times. When finished you will need to re-install any hardware or software you have added to the computer since its purchase. You will also need to run window updates.

I need a new power

This should be a standard ATX power supply. You can pick one up at most computer retail locations, or online. I believe most of these units shipped with a 300 watt. These power supplies are the minimum wattage rating for the computer. Putting in a larger 500 watt will not harm anything.

Nothing working when on main

Most likely cause is malware. You can try to remove the malware with a program like malwarebytes. I would probably back up anything important to an external hard drive and then re-install the computer. There should be a restore image on this computer (if it has not been reloaded with a windows disk in the past). When you boot up, on the HP splash screen, look for what function key (I believe it is F11) starts the restore partition. Once you have started the restore partition, do a full factory restore. This will wipe out any issues and restore the computer back to the way it was when you first opened the box. Any new software, updates, hardware, ect will need to be re-installed.
