Sentry headphones with mic
My mic DOES pick up stuff, we just can't quite figure out where the mic actually is so we can talk into it and actually hear us talking pretty well, we can slightly hear us talking into it in a recording, but it's so low! (we/us being me and my friend)
My left earpiece in my
Check the plug - it might have a broken wire, by wiggling it in the jack. It could be the jack as well - try another headphone in the jack.
Wire inside is torn
Hello
This tends to happen eventually with headphones, mostly by accident. I know.....
Things that you will need are a soldering iron, screw drivers and such.
You will have to disassemble the headphones, begin by removing any visible screws, you may have to carefully remove the soft pads around the ears to expose screws.
eventually you will get it open.
It is pretty simple repair. You have to cut the old wired out, possibly expose some new wire and then solder on its place.
When you got the wires in properly again, plug the headphones in and listen if you get sound from both, if these include a microphone also test it.
Then reassemble the headphones.
Let me know if you require further assistance.
Thanks,
Ekse
NO AUDIO SENTRY H0900
It works, Its that I just needed to find an Audio out port. (which I currently dont have due to lack of a cable box in my room)
Sentry HO900 headphones
The H0900 should come with a mini-plug adapter. The headphone jack in my TV was deeply inset, so I kinda reversed it. The adapter plugs into the transmitter, then the Red/White plugs, into that, then the long end of the cord into the TV.
Works fine for me. My problem will be posted seperately.
Won't shut off
These headphones are NOT a very good quality and if your on-off switch broken, it's not much use anymore. Taking out the battery is one solutions until you get tired of it and pitch the thing in the trash :)
Need help with HO 800sentry dynamic wireless headphone?
You need to plug in the RCA plugs (red and white) to your cable receiver box and NOT the TV outlet.
If you have satelite box, it's the same thing. It has two sets of audio-out and one of them goes to your TV and the other set may be free.
If not, goto Radio Shack and get a SPLITTER so you can plug in the headphone set.
However, these headphones... I have one, may not be all that good quality and reliable.
EXTERNAL SPEAKERS ARE AS LOUD AS THE HEADPHONES WHY?
The ability to turn off the external speakers of the radio being plugged into has to do with the capabilities of the radio itself, not the headphones. Most radios will automatically disable any built-in speakers when you plug headphones in but yours may require an extra step. Check your radio manual to see if it has a switch that can do this.
