Try below resets

Power Drain:

• Turn OFF the printer, disconnect the power cable from backside of the printer and from wall outlet.
• Press and hold the Power button for 60 seconds.
• Connect the cable and turn ON the printer.

Partial Reset

• Remove the power cable from back side of the printer while its ON.
• Press and hold "#" and "3" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.
• If printer turns OFF, press power button to turn it ON.

Semi-Full reset

• Remove the ink cartridges.
• Remove the power cable from back side of the printer while its ON.
• Press and hold "#" and "6" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.
• If printer turns OFF, press power button to turn it ON.
• Insert the ink cartridges.

NVM Reset

• Remove the ink cartridges.
• Remove the power cable from back side of the printer while its ON.
• Press and hold "OK" and "Cancel" button, while holding them both insert the power cable and release the button after 10 seconds.
• If printer turns OFF, press power button to turn it ON.
• Insert the ink cartridges.

Hello, you can find the original drivers here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-officejet-4300-all-in-one-printer-series/1138382/model/1138385 Reinstall them and you shold have all the options.

The scanner has a separate driver. Go to Device Manager and click "Imaging Devices." Is the scanner there? If yes, try to update driver. If it's not there, right click and select "scan for hardware changes." Plug and play should see the scanner and install it. If not, go to control panel, hardware, add device. Keep the disk in the machine, as you know it has the drivers on it. If there is a newer driver online, you can update later.

Is it getting power? Is the cord ok? Is the adapter that came with printer ok? If power is definitely reaching the printer and it is dead then you have to consider a replacement since repair is not cost effective. And if you have spare ink for unit you might just want to consider replacing it with identical unit since HP screws you with printer cartridges and respective cost.

my printer keeps saying its offline and will not print i did what it said and now it says its online again but still wont print .....anyway to solv this ....thanks.....i have a hp officejet 4315v all in one nel pls help

If you moved up on operating system the printer wasn't able to follow. Don't worry windows can run the printer and scan part without hp software. Just make sure you have the driver for that operating system. If one is not available try using the one for the operating system it was on before, or try updating. To update go to control panel/device manager look for a yellow exclamation mark. It may be your scanner. Right click and choose update driver allow it to search online. Then in control panel/devices and printers right click your printer and choose scan

you may have to reinstall printer from cd. Both Printer and fax should show. check settings on printer for functions.

Firstly have you connected the same phone line with your phone as well?? or its a dedicated phone line??? changed the settings on the printer1. press setup (the wrench icon) >>> then go to fax settings>> basic fax>> ecm - turn it off2. press setup (the wrench icon) >>> then go to fax settings>> basic fax>> auto ans: onsimilary rings to ans :6 if your TAM is set to four rings or else if you are using a dedicated phone line then your rings to ans should be : 2 fax speed medium...then try and check if that works....
