I don't remember the Power On Password in my computer. Is there a System to remove this Power on Password?
If your system is prompting you for the Power-On Password there are a few things you can try.First - remove the Battery and the Power Cord. Next remove the RTC battery. You can find instructions for how to remove the RTC battery from the user guide here:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00753552.pdf it is on Page 111. Leave all of the batteries and power off/unhooked from the computer. Next, press and hold the power button for at least 30 seconds while there are no batteries or power cables attached. Then allow the computer to sit for at least 5 minutes without the power sources. Finally - replace the RTC battery and then plug in the power cable. DO NOT PUT BACK IN THE MAIN BATTERY YET. Power the computer on and see if the password has been blanked out. If the power reset fixes the password, then you can put back in the main battery and go about using the computer. If the power reset does not fix the Power on Password - you will need to contact an HP authorized repair center to get it fixed. This is not a cheap option, but it may be the only way to remove the password. To get started with a repair with HP you can call: 866-234-1377. I hope this information helps you out!

Have you checked the brightness options for the screen using the HP function keys? Fn +F7 or Fn+F8 should adjust the brightness of the screen for that C306 model laptop. If adjusting the brightness has no response then try the next steps. What happens if you turn the computer off, plug it into an external monitor or projector, and then turn the computer back on? If the video displays correctly on a computer monitor or projector, but it stays dim on the LCD screen of the laptop, then the laptop LCD Screen Back-light or inverter is probably going out. You'll need to contact HP for a replacement part or take the laptop to a certified repair center.

Computer is not working
The computer may be in hibernate or standby. Try pressing the space bar, and then wait a moment. See if anything happens. If nothing happens, press the power button for one second and wait a moment and see if anything happens. If nothing occurs, you may need to force a restart. To force a restart, hold in the power button for approximately 15-20 seconds, this should force the computer to turn off all the way. If holding the power button doesn't do the trick - you can unplug the computer from the wall and take out the laptop battery as a last resort. Once you are sure the computer is off all the way, press the power button and see if anything at all shows on the screen. If you are not able to see any information on the screen, it is possible that the Laptops screen has gone bad. If you have an external monitor you can try to plug into it and see if anything shows. If nothing shows, it is possible the video card/motherboard is gone bad. To fully diagnose a bad motherboard or video card - you would need to take it to a qualified computer technician.

HOw to replace the mouse left click and right
The mouse click changes are based on OS used.
In windows OS ..Click Start button on your windows desktop. Select and click on Control Panel from the menu. Select and click Mouse from the control panel. From the Mouse Properties Window, select the Buttons tab. Select and check the Switch Primary and Secondary Buttons check box. Click the OK button.
Your mouse buttons should now be switched around, so now when you click your left mouse button, it will behave as a right-click, and clicking your right mouse button will behave as a left click.

Compaq presario shut down while plugged in
Greetings my friend, regarding on your problem try to remove your battery then clean it and after you clean insert it back. then used the power connector and insert it in the DC plug and wait for 5 - 10 mins before you turn on your laptop. In that way the battery is already charging then try also to touch the battery of the laptop if it is charging or not by touching the battery and when it warms meaning it charge otherwise it is not charging. Then if your findings are true that your battery are not charging then try to test it with tester so that you check the status of your battery.

You may have a virus, malware, adware, a browser hijacker, or pups (potentially unwanted programs). A. If your computer will boot and you can operate it ok... Download and install Malwarebytes and Superantispyware (Note: If you can\'t do the download on your machine, do it on a friend\'s, put them on a thumb drive, and install them from it). Then scan your computer with each program, and quarantine anything found. B. If your computer won\'t boot, or can\'t operate properly after boot... Tap F8 when you are booting, select "Safe Mode With Networking". Download and install Malwarebytes and Superantispyware (Note: If you can\'t do the download on your machine, do it on a friend\'s, put them on a thumb drive, and install them from it). Then scan your computer with each program, and quarantine anything found. C. If this process finds malware, to keep stuff like that from coming back, I recommend you get the paid version of Malwarebytes.Good luckG

If the fan making a smooth spin, but the noise is too loud, then it means the fan is trying to dissipate the heat. Probably the air inlet and or the air outlet (also the fan itself) is dirty (or clogged) and you need to clean it up using a canned air.
You may need to open the case/body if the dust become a dust ball (and you need a tweezer and qtip to pickup the dust ball and clean up the fan blades).
