Is not necessary to be the CPU,maybe is the power adapter, motherboard or CPU.
First check your power adapter, try another one from a friend or buy one.If you notice even one led flashing or something even a led near the hole that you plug the adapter(some laptops have a led there) then is not your adapter.
Good luck and let me know

First, check your power supply (the adapter). Is it putting out the required voltage to charge the battery?
If not, then you might have a dead battery and no way to charge it.
If the power supply is working and when you turn on the computer you get no lights, then you're probably looking at a new motherboard.
If you get startup lights and hear the fan, then it's getting power and you might have a video problem. But it sounds like, from what you wrote, there is no activity at all when you try to start it. That would be the power circuit on the motherboard, most likely.

It sounds as if the processor is overheating and sending a thermal shutdown order to the power supply. Take compressed air and blow out all the cooling grills and cooling fans as well as any opening that air can move through. If you have access to the panel where the heatsink sits, think about removing the heatsink, cleaning it and cleaning and adding some new thermal paste to the processor. Just a small amount is all you need. Make sure to spread it very thin, it does not need to be thick or it will not transfer the heat appropriately.

If you are good using a soldering iron on a PC board, you can replace the power adapter jack on the motherboard. If not, you should take it to a repair shop and have it taken care of. The cost to have it repaired at a shop should not exceed $50 including the part.
