The horizontal or lap section of the three point seatbelt should be placed over the foot end of the carseat and held in place under the two blue clips either side of the seat. The diagonal section of the seatbelt should go around the back of the carseat through the blue clip at the back.
Ensure the seatbelt is tensioned fully to prevent excessive movement.
If you're still not satisfied it is fitted correctly do not use it and return it to your retailer with proof of purchase and ask them to show you how to fit it properly.

The yellow plastic IsoFix guides can be ordered via your local retailer or direct with the customer service department on 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30. The RRP is £10 (set of 2) with £3.99 p+p if you order direct.
Bear in mind that these are guides only and may not be required. Some cars have the IsoFix points very prominant and quite high up so you can slot the IsoFix connections on without the guides; They are only to help if needed, if the IsoFix points are located quite deeply within the cushion of the vehicle seat.

the secret is on the hidden gap at the front of the car seat ... where it appears to be in a fixed loop at the front slide it to the side to expose a hidden gap in the plastic .. you can then just slide the straps out...as easy as that !! ( easy when you know how)

Cant remove the cover off the straps at the bottom
Had the same problem where you are left with the cover trapped by the quick adjust part for the shoulder straps located near the foot of the seat. The solution, the strap does detach at the front of the seat. The loop that is stiched round what feels like a solid plastic part of the base, turns out that there is a gap in the plastic so push the strap to either side and pull it out through the gap. With this removed you should now be able to remove the cover completly and bung it in the washing machine on a hand wash.

Good Evening
Instructions for replacing your fabrics are in your Maxi Cosi CabrioFix user manual. If you no longer have your user manual you can download another copy at
www.maxi-cosi.com and selecting the CabrioFix carseat. Above the product image you will see a tab to download a user manual.
If you have removed the harness from the carseat completely this carseat needs to be sent to our engineers for them to re-thread the harness. Due to the safety implications of this being done incorrectly we cannot recommend that this is done by anyone else. The standard charge is £50 and this would include courier delivery service of the carseat back to your address. In addition you will need to make arrangements and cover costs for a courier delivery service of the carseat into our engineers.

The harness should not be removed from the carseat. Incorrect re-fitting of the harness may cause safety implications so the carseat does need to be returned to our engineers for full inspection and repair work required.
Please contact our customer service department on 01284 413141 (Mon - Fri, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm) to book it in for this. Standard charge is £50 and will include courier delivery of the product back to your address. In addition you will need to make arrangements and cover costs for the carseat to be sent to our engineers.

Good Evening
I'm sorry to hear of this inconveniance. Try squirting some furnature polish around the adaptors and rubbing in with a clean cloth, then click it back into the Quinny chassis. Now try and remove the carseat again - the adaptors should remain in the Quinny chassis, not the carseat.
If you still have no luck you'll need to take the carseat back to your retailer with your proof of purchase to ask them to examine it and determine what the problem could be. If the adaptors are in the right way round and they are still unable to remove them from the carseat they may need to send the carseat back to our engineers for full inspection and solution. However if the adaptors have been put in the wrong way round there may be a charge for this.
