Have removed cover from front
The carseat harness should never be removed due to the safety implications of it being incorrectly re-fitted. Your carseat will need to be sent to the engineers for them to fit the harness correctly.

Our car doesn't allow us to use the easyfix
The carseat has obviously not been correctly installed using the seatbelt as it cannot be removed without undoing the seatbelt if it has been correctly installed. Contact your retailer for a demonstration on correct fitting.

I really need to take
Hi Emily - You should never remove the harness from the carseat due to the safety implications of the harness being incorrectly refitted. To wash the harness straps please remove the fabric only and wash the harness in situ using a warm water solution with lemon juice and bicarbonate of soda to clean it up .

Hiya i took my car
Hi - You may find it easier to get the tensioner strap into the location using a flat spoon handle. Take the carseat to your retailer for them to advise if you have difficulty.

How can I attach the car seat to mama& papas
Hi - Maxi Cosi don't produce the adaptors that put the Maxi Cosi carseat onto a chassis produced by another manufacturer. It would be the manufacturer of the buggy that you need to contact to ask them about fitting directions as they produce the adaptors.

Hi i've got the cover
Hi - We anticipate that you are struggling to get the tensioner strap back into that H shaped piece of plastic - it is very fiddly to do, and you may find it easier to do with the flat handle of a spoon. If you're not sure its done properly take your carseat to an authorised Maxi Cosi retailer and ask them to check it for you.

I have a second hand rear facing maxi cosi car
Hi Vanessa - We cannot recommend you use a 2nd hand carseat for exactly this reason. A carseat fitted with a 3 point seatbelt requires a physical fitting from a trained member of staff prior to purchase to ensure suitability, and to demonstrate to you how to correctly install it in your car to ensure your child is safe. Please attend an authorised retailer and ask for a carseat fitting from a trained member of staff to establish the most suitable carseat for you and your vehicle and to ensure you know how to fit it correctly.

Cannot refit maxi cosi car
Hello - The harness straps of any carseat should not be removed as the re-threading of them requires specialist tools. Due to the safety implications of the harness being incorrectly re-fitted, the carseat would need to be sent to the engineers for inspection and repair as required. If you're in the UK please contact the customer services department on 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30 to discuss.

Hi when should I move
Good AfternoonThe Maxi Cosi CabrioFix can be used to a maximum weight of 13kg which is around 28/29lbs. We recommend that you keep baby rear facing for as long as possible as this is the safest way for children to travel due to the development of the neck and spinal muscles. At a minimum weight of 9kg she can be moved into a standard group 1 carseat.
