The bottom freezer has exceesive

Really when the fridge frost very excessively there is less cold.
You have to regularly set up defrost setting if your fridge has automatic defrost.
Or your fridge has manual defrost then defrost it twice a week.
To minimize excessive frost, set the temp control setting to just mid- position.
Good luck.

Hi my botton frezer no working the compressor its

Compressors are normally 100-120 degrees when being cooled by a condenser fan motor. If there is no fan motor near the compressor then it can run up to 180 degrees, so the compressor temp by itself doesnt mean much. You can take an ampmeter and clamp it around one of the wires to the compressor to see if it is running, drawing anywhere from 1-2.5 amps or trying to start, in which case it may draw up to 20 amps every 3-5 minutes.

Freezer not working

The frist thing I would do is clean around the compressor area. Removing air restrictions. I would then make sure the fan down there was blowing air across the compressor and I would see to it the compressor was working ok. I would check the compressor relay. These tend to fall apart with age. If neither the compressor nor the fan was running I would check to see if the defrost timer was stuck in the defrost mode. If all of that was working and I have cleaned the compressor area, I would then check if the inside fan was blowing. I would look for signs of a defrost problem like frost on the rear wall. I would remove the service panel and check the defrost heater and termination thermostat. If either of these is bobo then ice will build in the freezer blocking the flow of air.

After defrosting I cant get

Hello,

A mechanical defrost timer controls the defrost cycle of the freezer. In older models, the timer runs continuously and roughly every six hours, cuts power to the cooling system and sends power to the defrost heater. In newer models the timer advances only while the compressor or defrost cycle is running - an improvement for efficiency. As the timer continues to advance, power to the heating element is cut and power is restored to the cooling system. If the timer does not advance, the appliance will be stuck either in defrost or refrigerate mode, resulting in, respectively, no cooling or frost build-up.

The defrost timer is usually found behind the front grill "toe kick" of the refrigerator. It may also be found behind a cover plate inside the refrigerator or freezer, in the temperature control console, or behind the refrigerator near the compressor. To test whether the defrost timer is simply failing to advance, locate the advance screw and turn it clockwise until you hear it click. This advances it to the next mode. If it was cooling before, it is now in defrost mode. Simply wait about 35 minutes and check whether it has left defrost mode and has resumed cooling (listen for the compressor). If it does not advance, the timer motor is probably bad and the entire timer needs to be replaced. If it advances as it should, then you can follow the steps below to test the switch electrically.
The timer is usually held in place with one or more screws. Remove the screws and gently pull the timer out far enough to disconnect the wiring connector. The connector can be removed by firmly pulling and rocking it left and right. It is not necessary to note the position of the wires because the connector plug is keyed so that it can be replaced in only one way.

Take care.

Where is the drain located in the amana

Good day,
In the freezer compartment, after you remove the rear panel, you will see the cooling (evaporator) coil. There is an aluminum pan directly below the coil. The drain hole would be obvious unless it is iced over, in which case you would need to melt the ice out.

It is connected to the drain hose which you can see by removing the back bottom cover of the machine that houses the compressor. If open and working properly, the hose carries the water to the drain pan which allowsit to evaporate.

If the freezer has an ice maker, it will have to be removed first. In addition any support brackets if they prevent the removal of the rear panel.

Refregarator get defrost at the meant time, frezer working well.

The problem is most likely the defrost heater element(s) and/or the defrost timer. The defrost heater element(s) are located with the evaporator core behind the access panel inside of the freezer, and can be removed, tested with an ohm meter, (any reading other than infinity would most likely mean the heater element is functional) and replaced if necessary. The defrost timer can be located inside of the refrigerator, or outside of the refrigerator behind the front kick panel, or behind the rear access cover on the back of the refrigerator.

Usually if the evaporator core is freezing up and not allowing air to flow through the evaporator core, (necessary for the system to function properly) then the defrost timer is most likely working and the defrost heater element(s) would most likely be at fault.

Always place a towel on the bottom of the freezer and use a blow dryer to defrost the evaporator core and never use any sharp or hard objects to pick away the ice or the evaporator core can be damaged and the refrigerant will be leak from the system.

I have included some images to help assist you, and a new defrost heater element or defrost timer can be purchased from an appliance parts distributor.
