Toshiba satellite c660 stuck on windows splash
hi K Smith.
Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help in identifying the issue.
- Start by doing a hard reboot, remove the battery and unplug its AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds and see if it will boot up.
- If these will not work remove the HDD then boot it up and see if it will still get stuck at the BIOS screen or not.
- If it doesn't get stuck on BIOS and boot onto a black screen that means it's the HDD that is faulty.
- If it does get stuck on BIOS even without the HDD that means it's the motherboard that is faulty.
- Last trick you can try is to remove the CMOS battery for a second then put it back in.
- If all these will not work you'll need to send it for a repair if its still under the factory warranty
or.
1) Unplug the power cord --> Remove the battery --> Hold the power button for
60 seconds --> Connect the power supply then try to switch ON the laptop and
later put the battery back into the laptop.
2) If the problem still exists then get it checked out.

My Toshiba Satellite A215-S7428 seems
It could be a sympton of display cable failure or the display has failed, try plugging into an external source such as a monitor or tv and then try booting, if you get a display then it is the notebook screen or cable that may be faulty, hope this helps.

Satellite c55-a5308 bluetooth enable
search for switch or button to activate wireless on your device. Have you verified that the Bluetooth radio is turned on? If the radio is off, then nothing may show in Device Manager. Look under Network Cards - unless your BT radio exposes a PAN (personal area network), you won't find anything there. You need to look under the "Bluetooth Radios" section.

I just bought a brand new Toshiba Satellite P75-A7200. It won't play DVD's and keeps saying wrong area code...I live in Australia, bought the PC in Australia and am trying to play Australian DVD's but
hi, I think this may help. what you need to do first of all is change the default player for DVD's from Toshiba Video Player to Windows Media Player, cant remember off hand how to do that but should be in manual, but try this. go to windows control panel, select 'Default Programs' and click on it, then select 1st option 'Set Your Default Programs' a list of all programs will come up, look for Windows Media Player and click on it, then choose one of the options on the right. The top one sets as default, the bottom one allows you to set file types to open with the program. this should work as it is telling your system to launch that program for DVD's etc, If you cant find your control panel, simply click Start and type it in the little box that appears just above it.hope this helps

English to be used in this acer laptop
Some laptops come with two langages pre-installed. However the choice of language is offered to you only once: at the first installation.
