Hallo .i have a problem

If it is a condensor mic, it will need phantom power, some mixing desks have specific inputs that have phantom power and there is usually a switch to press. Also some mics use a battery instead of using the phantom power on the mixing des.

Good luck

The dvd player wont play dvd's it will play cd's

Sometimes it might pick up ordinary audio CD but will not play other formats. This indicates that the optical head is weak and so there is no detection or scanning of the CD . If the optical is working the tracks will be read immediately but with no scanning the laser head can be defective.

If there is no result then watch if the CD spins or tries to spin. If so the board seems to work unless a test is taken on the main board but the possibility of a defective optical head can be the suspected fault. If any of the above seems otherwise we must recheck with possibilities of a malfunction of the main processor board

Dvd player goes through the

hope you're using a good dvd... but if this is happening more often... just bring it back to the store or to the authorized service center if its still under warranty.... if not, try this simple steps...(1) try to insert a optical lens cleaner cd if available.... (sometimes a dirty optical lens is the cause of the problem...). once you cleaned the optical lens try to insert a good dvd... check if the problem is gone... if not (2) unplug the unit from the power supply socket. (3) remove the protective cover.. (4) plug the unit again to the power supply socket again. but please be careful not to touch the electrical circuit of the unit...(5) insert a good dvd... check if the dvd is spinning normally?... if not or too slow maybe the problem is the motor... (6) check if the optical lens is flashing a red light... if not, check the ribbon wire. check if its not broken... sometimes a broken ribbon wire may cause the problem. (7) if the the optical lens is flashing and the cd or dvd is spinning too fast than the normal speed, and the optical lens is moving back and port, and you hear a noisy sound like skipping. then the problem is the ptical lens... ty

My computer audio does not work

There are a number of different reasons why your computer may no longer give sound. If you have this problem, read on to learn how to diagnose the problem and resolve your PC's loss of sound.
Instructions Things You'll Need

  • Driver and Application Recovery CDs
  • Updated sound driver software

Check the Speaker Connections and Volume Control Settings
    • Verify that the lack of sound is not due to faulty speaker connections. A simple way to test it is to substitute the speaker connection with headphones and see if you get any sound.
    • Open the volume control window by clicking your "Start" button and then "All Programs." Click "Accessories," then "Entertainment," then "Volume Control." Alternatively, just click on the speaker icon that's in your System Tray.
    • Check the volume and mute settings. If any of the mute check boxes have been checked, uncheck them. If this doesn't work, read on.
Perform a System Restore If Necessary
    • If the sound has been audible from your computer's speakers and is suddenly lost, you may need to perform a System Restore. Click on the " Start" button and then "All Programs."
    • Click on "Accessories," then "System Tools," then "System Restore."
    • Complete the System Restore Wizard. If this doesn't work, read on.
Delete and Reinstall the Original Sound Drivers
    • Deleting and reinstalling your sound driver may resolve the problem. Your sound driver may have been corrupted or may be missing. The result of this is that the restore utility menu won't be available. For Windows XP, follow these steps.
    • Click on your "Start" button. Click on "Control Panel" and then "System." Next, click on "Hardware," then "Device Manager, then "Sound, Video and Game Controllers."
    • Click on a sound device named in the Device Manager, and then press the Delete key on the keyboard. Click "OK" in the window that appears. Remove all the listed sound devices i this way EXCEPT Audio Codec and Legacy Audio Drivers.
    • Restart your computer. Reinstall the deleted drivers using the Driver and Application Recovery CDs that came with your Windows XP system.
    • Visit your computer manufacturer's official website. Check for any updated sound driver software for your sound card. If any, download them along with the installation instructions.

I hope this information will be helpful. Thank you for using FixYa!
