Your defrost heater has a glass tube surrounding it and can find a link or photo at the next two links just click on repair guy and enter part number is part number=> 63001387 The defrost thermostat is part=> 63001388 and the defrost timer is part number=> 63001353 I would like you to open freezer and examine the rear wall for a layer of frost. If yes the we most likely have a defrost problem caused by one of these three parts. If yes also unplug and lets examine the defrost heater and defrost thermostat. I would be calling the store from where it was purchased it should be under warranty. If the ice maker is not working the freezer is not getting down to proper temp. therefor the refrigerator does not cool because all cooling takes place in the freezer, there is a damper between the refrigerator and freezer that allows air through cooling the refrigeration section. Look for ice on the back wall, of the freezer section, If present then the defrost cycle is not working. The evap.coil is icing up and there is no air blowing into the refrigerator. This is the most common problem.

Install Water Filtration Cartridge (some
models)
a. Remove bypass cartridge from water filter head in rear
right corner of refrigerator section. Twist cartridge
counterclockwise 1/4 turn and pull down to remove.
Save bypass for use at a later date.

Sharla, It could possibly be the ice maker rod that tells the ice maker whether it's full or not. If it's in the down position it wants to make ice and it'll make a clicking noise. Lift the rod up if it's down. Hopefully this helps!? Best to you.
