Hello Racinfrogs,
You are most likely looking at a serious FROST blockage...
FIRST thing to check... YOUR DEFROST pan...
If dry... you have found your
TROUBLE..
A serious FROST blockage can be caused by SEVERAL
air intrusion issues... Ice cube stuck: holding chute door open... or a pizza box holding any door ajar... Perhaps even a failed (or poorly aligned) DOOR GASKET...
(all these will be burdening your defrost pan: lots of water)
FINALLY... and very common
A DEFROST CIRCUIT FAILURE.
(this will be manifested by a DRY defrost pan)
Easiest... Part to check & change
Your REFRIGERATOR has a
defrost timer...
Check here for replacement part (wp67001036)
and
INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO...

In addition to their instructions.. I always SUGGEST
you should
take pictures and notes of what
COLOR
wire goes where...
BEFORE getting in trouble...!!
There are only 2 (two) other parts to the defrost circuit...
EASY once you understand...
- Thermal switch to keep defrost temperature v-low
- heater element (ungoverned can ruin food/plastic).
Hope this helps... ELSE comment me

BEFORE getting in trouble.
