I am a gamer and p5vdc-mx has only agp slot and i
Hello
I dont think there are any agp to pci ex riser cards. As pci e x16 is part of the motherboard circutry.
There are pci to agp riser cards. If your going to be playing some of the latest games. Most games in the past 3 yrs require a pci x16 vid card.
I suggest geting another motherboard,chipset,and memory.Along with a Pci e x 16 card min 512mb.
I have installed windows 7
This board may not support Windows 7 unless you install a video board with 128 MB or more of graphics memory. The onboard video appears to be only 64 MB. The main memory should be at 4GB even though Windows 7 will operate at a minimum of 1 GB(very slowly). I would first run the Microsoft Windows 7 Advisory software to see any compatibility issues. If it was my decision, I would get a new ASUS motherboard certified for Windows 7 with DDR3 memory, a 1GB graphics card, and a 1TB Hard Drive. Upgrading to Windows 7 requires a computer upgrade in most cases.
Need a diagram in order
Hi,
You need a diagram manual.
Please download the service/owner manual in Asus home page, in the customer support category.
Read the manual in the connection of audio jumpers and download the updated drivers for your board.
Hope FixYa helped you out!
How to get 1920x1080 resolution
The on-board graphics is not capable of that resolution. You will have to install a video card with at least 512 MB graphics memory to get there. You may be pushing the limits of this motherboard and should consider an upgrade.
