Sony kds-rx60xbr1 red light blinking turn it on and off and tv goes on

The lamp for this model number is XL-5100 Before ordering the lamp, I would inspect the inside of the TV, be certain that the three fans are clean and free from dust. Often if a fan does not start the first time it may start on a restart. Due to the nature of televisions operating, dust seems drawn to these TV's. Cleaning the fans might correct your issue.

Sony tv kds-r60xbr1 has yellow tint

Sorry to hear this, but your optical block has failed. Sony replaced a ton of these under warranty and then extended the warranty on these SXRD sets so they could replace many more. They even replaced the sets with LCD sets after a class action law suite. This was a "black eye" for Sony TVs and they stopped making the SXRD sets. Your set is vintage 2006 and there is no longer a warranty. You could replace the optical block with a rebuilt one, but the cost would be about the same as getting a new 60" LCD. I would suggest you do the latter.

My Sony sxrd tv on any channel repeats & repeats a few seconds of what ever channel it's on

There is nothing in the TV that should cause this. It sounds like a cable box/DVR problem.

TV is older and has had a great picture through the years. It has now developed blue vertical lines all the way across the screen every 3/4".

Those are retrace lines from too bright a picture. If you can't get them to go away with the brightness control then a repair is necessary

It doesnt turn on

Thats caused by a shorted audio circuit. Replacing the K board will solve that issue. You can get the replacement K board from the following link scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see the K board listed. They also have installation assistance if you need it.http://www.tvrepairworld.com/sony_circuit_boards/sony_dlp_circuit_boards

Samsung LN46A580P6F LCD HD TV is turning on and off from two to ten times before it stays on when the tv is cold

Samsung LN46A580P6FX On the main board, IC104 (Part #SPX1587AT) is a 3.3VDC to 1.8VDC regulator. When this IC fails, the 1.8VDC drops substantially when the TV is turned on. After five minutes or so, the unit operates fine. This IC can be purchased from digikey for about $1.80. Another fix is to attach a 1000uF 10 volts capacitor from ground to the DC source of this IC. I used a 1000uF 50V (overkill) for proof of concept. No picture csreen shows only green and a bit of red

You have a bad optical engine. This is a really good tv. This was caused by overheating. Tv is full of dust or in a cabinet. Its worth repairing. I would contact a local tv repairman. this is not a job a consumer could do,

Tv not bright enough on a sony kds-r60xbr1

When was the lamp this model uses for brightness last replaced? These as a rule have a 2,000 hour or 2 year average lifespan and many just before they fail will go darker, picture will come up slower and be a bit dim.

The tv is on then screen turns off and greenlight will blink understanby and then screen comes on again

If it has a lamp that has not been replaced in a long time it may be that---if it turns on slow and is somewhat dim that points to a lamp that is about to fail---set detects if lamp not full up or bright enough etc.

The power light is red and the lamp light is continuously blinking red

you have a power supply problem. The red lights indicates a power source failure. Probably a chip failure that is drawing too much power... needs a good tech guy to isolate the problem...

No sound

Try putting in a DVD or VCR tape..if they don't make any sound either...than you have probably blown an audio board fuse... But I bet that they will have sound which in that case the problem is more than likely the cable ITSELF not the box... the cable that carries the signal your tv has video on one wire and audio on another.. then sheilding etc.. it's probably got a short in audio ( I have seen brand new cables to do this so even if it looks ok try different one.) if that don't work... hook a different tv up at that location and see what happens... and then it's to call cable company to come fix the box which probably blew up scrambler... which would show that the output is working fine but unfortunately your tv is not able to dis cipher the audio because it's a tv not a cable decoding device...I hope that helps you.

I have 4 red blinking light on the standby/ power. What does it mean

A 4 blink error means that you have a fan issue. Make sure fans are not clogged with dust or debree. If fans are free of debree replace the fan that is not spinning. There are 4 fans. 1 on the right. 1 on the left. 1 on the top and 1 on the back behind a metal shield.

Sony kds initial setup issues

This could be a issue in the set or from a box if one is used for signal--try unplugging set, a box if used and a receiver if used for a while---plug back and see if a reboot of the units solves this or not.If the box is used try if it has them the audio/video outs from the box to the rear audio/video inputs on set to see if same issue.
