Ge monogram has water droplets

The gasket may have worn some causing an air leak,.and you are seeing water condensation from the leak. Try adjusting the door hinge. Close the door on a piece of paper and see if you can pull the paper out. Adjust the hinge until the paper is tight. You may have to adjust both hinges to align it properly.

Water dispenser not working.

Check in the back wall of the refrigerator section and confirm the water dispenser reservoir is not frozen. Listen for the solenoid valve to click when actuating the water dispenser. If no click check the solenoid valve. The wires for the switch are in the door hinge of the freezer. Confirm that they have not failed. Hope this is a helps?

Why am I all of sudden getting frost build up inside the ice down spout and around the outside of the ice container? This is a new problem in just the last couple of days.

Need more info like how long have you had this fridge, humidity levels, etc. One thing that comes to mind is a clogged drain tube.

There is a control panel reset for my GE Monogram side by side, Model # zfsb23dnss, It was "repaired" with a new board and now will not cool or freeze, HELP

There is no such button. What part # was on the replacement control board? Your model also has an INVERTER used to control the compressor... When the machine is turned "on" does the fan in the freezer and the fan near the compressor run? Is there any frost on the back wall of the freezer, or is it room temp? GE Refrigerator Main Control Board WR49X10152 .... GE Inverter Board WR49X10283 These two parts control compressor function on your fridge, the first two are the expensive parts called for by your model number- the second two are identical function, but cheaper part number!

My GE climate control drawer always has water in the pan . I wipe it out and when I return there is always water on the bottom.

Hi, Which model do you have? Its easier to tell you when I can get the information of the unit. I can guess, obstructed drain to the evaporator in the fresh food section, or a leaking water tank, but not sure as all units are not built the same. Freezer wont make ice cubes

This is not difficult to troubleshoot.
  • When the arm is up the ice maker is off
  • When the bucket is full the arm is up the maker is off.
  • If the ice maker has a on/off button in off the ice maker is off
  • If the ice maker internal heater fails the cubes will not release and the white plastic ejector arms will be rotated CCW and pressing against the ice in the tray, Normal position for ejector arms is vertical.
  • If water solenoid has failed or water supply not available the ice maker will cycle. The ice tray will be empty,(hard to see if ice tray is empty). Check and replace water fill solenoid.
  • If ice in tray and ejector arms vertical several possibilities.
    • Freezer not cold enough to trip thermostat in ice maker to initiate release cycle.
    • Check freezer temperature <10 Fahrenheit thermostat in ice maker failure
    • Ice maker motor failure,
    • Internal ice maker electrical connections rotary switch failure,
The best way to check the operation is to manually lock the arm up into the off retention position. Wait a minimum of one hour. Open door and release arm down. Observe the operation of the ice maker. Is after a minute or so the ejector arm does not rotate then it is likely the ice maker has failed internally. If the ejector turns and no ice than you can assume either the water supply is off external from the refrigerator or more likely the water solenoid located behind the bottom back cover has failed. It is also possible that the hose that connects the solenoid to the ice maker has frozen right where it enters the freezer just above the ice maker. You should see ice built up at the entrance where the water fills the tray if this has occurred.

Had a power outage four days now frig on but compressor not running

Check the compressor start relay/capacitor for operation. Then if ok make sure that electricity is reaching the motor windings - if not, you need to find out why not. Could be a bad thermostat, a stuck defrost timer, etc. You have to roll up your sleeves and get cracking. If juice is at motor windings and it does nt run then you have a bad motor needing replacement. Ouch. Otherwise, get your dinero and call out he repairman.

Why do freezer and refrigerator get warm and then cool down again and repeat the cycle every few days?

check fan operation if fan not working will cause icing and the air wont pass thru causing temperature to rise in unit than defrost cycle removes some of icing and unit will work to cool down till iced over --other is defrost timer damaged or electrical connection problem

Ge monogram not cooling properly

It doesn't cool
  1. Condenser coils
Make sure you dust off the condenser coils to prevent dust build up and overheating due to it overworking. Simply unplug and use a long coil cleaning brush to get rid of debris.
  1. Check seals
If your refrigerator door seal is broken, warm air is pushing its way inside the unit, thus causing it to not cool properly. Prevent this from happening by replacing your seal and keeping the cool air inside.
  1. Temperature controls
Ensure that your thermostat is set correctly, usually 38-40 degrees Fahrenheit.
  1. Defective condenser fan
When this fan is defective, cold air is prevented from flowing through the vents. It may require replacement.
  1. Compressor issues
Check if there are clicking sounds coming from the compressor as it tries to start. If there is a clicking, it is one of only two options, either the start capacitor or a bad compressor. A start capacitor is fairly inexpensive whereas a sealed system repair on the compressor is very expensive and often not cost effective. Refrigerator Repair Help Troubleshooting and Parts
