Hello -The cause of the stains on the interior of your dishwasher may be the water. Do you know if you have hard water, water with a high mineral content? Sounds like a bearing in the pump is going. This would cause a leak be careful leak will get worst.

Make sure the door switch in the latch assembly is being activated.

Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible lint is present then remove then turn off the dishwasher and remove the drain hose and check for any visible clogging. If still not visible then the drain filter or drain pump is clogged and you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump. Also, check for any food pieces stuck near the pump impeller.

Please note that dishwashers don't drain out the complete water such that heating element doesn't overheat.

The wash pumo and drain pump are different. The most common problem on washing machines and dishwasher is failure of the electronics, usually the circuit board. As you have already had a problem (sanitize cycle) I am afraid it sounds like you need to call an engineer. Replacing the electronics will be expensive, but it may be loose connections only. :(

I don 't know how to fix the dispenser; however, there is a jet dry product that is sold in stores that is in solid form, you just clip it to the upper rack. I have seen it in Wal-Mart in the detergent aisle.
