My gogear is showin "list empty" though it has all the songs .

Try going back to an older version of Media Player. Probably version 9. Then remove and reinstall everything. The newer versions of Media Player don't "get along" with the GoGear.

Need to find a replacment screen for my philips

Hi

You can order the LCD directly from Philips. See support link with contact details on upper right side of page http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?ctn=HDD6320/05&scy=ie&slg=en

Alternatively Ebay is a good source for used LCDs - example at link of players that have functioning LCDs but the units are not working because of other functional problems and are suitable for spares.
http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?ctn=HDD6320/05&scy=ie&slg=en

The above link is for 4 non functioning players but a search on Ebay will often reveal a single unit with a functioning LCD for spares which is cheap to purchase.

Hope this helps. Please remember to rate my answer. Many Thanks.

When i turn it on it says gogear and it frezzes

Reset the player by holding the off-switch and the volume-+ (plus) switch., and as soon as the player shuts off, press and hold the volume- - (minus) switch. Let the Philips device manager do a repair.
If this doesn't solve your problem, do the above procedure again. The computer will see the gogear as a removable hard-drive now, so go to my computer and format it. Disconnect the player, after restarting it go to settings and choose "restore to factory defaults", this will restore the file structure on the drive.

Problem with go gear

Reset the player by holding the off-switch and the volume-+ (plus) switch., and as soon as the player shuts off, press and hold the volume- - (minus) switch. The computer will see the gogear as a removable hard-drive now, so you can copy/paste music to the music folder. Though the drive might be recognized by Vista, even with the media player running I wasn't able to load music on the player. The files were on the player, as the computer showed, but the player couldn't see them. Only for winXP!
