hit the sound icon on your desktop rightclick it, go to Recoringtools turn down the microphone! As in the picture.

Won't charge!
HEADPHONES AND SPEAKERS
Hi There Try this,
VOLUME
Try Adjusting the vlume on your PC first. Check the volume on the Headphone too if there is one.
CLEANING
Using a dump clothe. Wipe the plugs with a twisting motion.
WIRELESS\BLUETOOTH
Check your battery if it is drained. Try replacing them witha new one or charge them if they are rechargables.
If all fails then You may have a Sound Card problem. Using a spare Speaker or Headphone check it if it works. If its not then its Defective and needs replacement. If its working then your Speakers or
Headphones are defective. Try fixing them by cleaning or checking the Continuity of its cables using a analog Multi tester.

Headset not charging
Sometimes it takes longer than two hours. Leave it plugged in overnight if you can. The indicator light should go off after fully charging.

Light only lights up while charging
are you pressing and holding the button for 3 seconds until it flashes 3 times as that is howyou turn it on and off, not by simply pressing the button and then letting go.

No voice or sound
Did you check that you didn't activate mute?
If it is on mute. Press both volume buttons at the same time you will hear two descending audio tones.

My H500 headset works or not?
May mean it is fully charged. Try long pressing big button until steady blue. Then have phone search.
Is your experience charging via wall charger different?

Pairing motorola h500
Pairing mode is what is shown in the picture. The headset has a steady blue light and is ready to be paired with another device.

Broke the ear hook for the Motorola h500 bluetooth headset
The ear hook on my H500 broke as well. I called Motorola (866-289-6686) and they are mailing me a replacement. Even though This bluetooth has a 1-year warranty. I purchased mine in Jan. 2007 and was covered but the rep didn't verify anything regarding the purchase date so even if you're outside of your warranty, you might still give it a shot.
