Error code C1 PO......

Hello. Your model dishwasher has a recall on it. There is a potential problem with the control board. Call Bosch at (800)856-9226 to find out if your unit needs to have a new control board installed and re-programmed. This only covers the replacement of the control board--any other problem will be covered by the customer. You will need the model and serial number. Next, regarding your model's problem...this was gotten from another tech site(I'm a member of quite a few, lol) "Sounds like the unit is stuck in the control coding mode. C1 is the proper coding for your model so you just need to lock it in. To enter coding mode, press and hold the second, third, fourth and fifth buttons to the right of the display simultaneously, then turn the dishwasher on using the On/Off switch. The associated leds will be blinking to confirm coding mode. Release all buttons to view control coding. To change coding, press the second button to scroll through codes C0 - C9. C1 is the correct code for your unit. Turn the dishwasher off to save control coding and exit coding mode." I hope this helps you! Let me know if you need further assistance!---Thanks!

Dishwasher Does not Fill Past First Rinse

There is an anti flood valve on the bottom of the unit. IT could be sticking or have a bad connection. IT should look like a dome shaped housing on the bottom of the tub. If that is not the problem then you are looking at further troubleshooting to see if it is the contoller.

Hi. To remove the control panel on the machine there are a total of 6 screws holding it on. Four screws across the top of the inside of the door and 2 more on the sides. Once you have removed all the wire connecting plugs from the control unit you should lay the control panel on a towel face down to work on the four clips holding the metal frame onto the plastic control panel. Be careful not to break these clips as they are delicate. Don't force them to move more than they need to disengage. Once the steel frame is removed out of the plastic control panel you should have access to the plastic buttons to replace them. Regards Sam

How do you run the diagnostic on a bosch

Resoldering the relay, regardless of how proficient one is at soldering, will not be a long term solution. The melted/burned solder joint is a secondary result of the initial failure, which is the relay itself. There is a solution that is more permanent and less costly than replacing the control with a new one.Do a search for Bosch 266746 control and you will locate someone who has studied the problem and found a safe, long term solution.

Dishwasher: BOSCH SHE43 - pump keeps draining

Your dishwasher is stuck in flood mode. Bosch dishwashers are built with flood switches located in the bottom base pan of the dishwasher. The flood switch is connected to a rod that activates a small interlock switch. When water enters the base pan on a Bosch dishwasher, a Styrofoam puck lifts the rod, activating the flood switch. When the flood switch is activated, the dishwasher will go into a no-fill, only-drain mode. The drain motor may also run with the door open to the unit. This is definitely a sign there is water in the base pan. This can be caused by the drain being clogged. There are two ways to fix:1. You can uninstall the dishwasher and tip it forward to about a 45 degree angle to drain the water out of the base pan. (This is probably why Ian Bint's solution fixed the problem.) Be sure to put a towel under the dishwasher first so that the water is soaked up in the towel instead of going all over the floor. Once you've drained all the water out of the base pan, reinstall the dishwasher and begin a cycle. If it fills and runs, you are good to go.2. You can also unplug the unit, then remove the kick panel at the bottom in the front. (It's attached with two screws.) Then get some old washcloths or small towels and reach into the base pan below the dishwasher to soak up the water. The pan is directly behind the plastic base panel rim. Once the pan is empty and dry, your dishwasher will no longer be in "flood mode" and will run properly. If the base pan keeps refilling with water and the no-fill problem returns, there is definitely another issue, such as a clogged drain. At this point, you need to decide whether to invest in an expert evaluation by a certified Bosch repairman and make the necessary repairs, or buy a new dishwasher.

Our dishwasher won't drain completely. I ran it through a regular cycle but it was left with water in the bottom.

Have you tried canceling the cycle? To cancel, turn the on/off switch to on, then press and hold for three seconds the two buttons labeled "Cancel Drain". Keep the door closed for the next minute so that the dishwasher can complete the cycle. During this time the pump will remove any water from the washer. Also you will notice that Bosch dishwashers always leave a little water in the system to keep the seals from drying out and going bad.Hope this helps

I have a Bosch SHE4AM15UC diswasher. The rinse agent comes out at the gasget. The rinse agent light does not come on anymore windicating it needs more agent.

I would have to say the sensor may be fouled up and need to be cleaned if you are concerned about the light. If the rinse agent is coming out of the gasket I would look for small cracks around the dispenser, then the door panel may need to be replaced.

How can I clean my cloudy glasses? How can I

If you have hard water, glasses can look spotted and cloudy even after cleaning. Sometimes changing the dishwasher detergent can help. The easiest solution to clearing up glasses that start to look cloudy is to add some vinegar to the bottom of the dishwasher before you start a cycle. Simply add 1/4 of white vinegar and it will clear up your glasses very well.
You should see marked improvement after the first time you do this. If they are not crystal clear then simply repeat the process until all of the cloudiness is gone. In fact I recommend to using a little vinegar in each cycle to maintain the clarity of the glass.

Note: you can pre-test this by rubbing some vinegar on an individual glass with a cloth. If you cannot remove the cloudiness by soaking it and rubbing vinegar on it then it is possible that the glass is etched due to harsh or cheap dishwasher detergent and vinegar will not solve the problem.

Yes there is a built in heater that can be replaced, however, if the heating is intermittently it is possible that it is a filling issue as the heater has a boil dry prevention switch. This basically means if the water level is too low the heater will not come on.use this link http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/store/spareparts/DishwasherBOUG4PaintedStainless/SHU43C05UC/17go to page 4, you need to check parts listed 428 and 427 are free of build up as this will cause a drop in water level. If the heater has failed this is part 409 on the same page. Please ensure that the unit is completed isolated from the mains before carrying out any diagnosis. To check these parts you need to remove lid (usually held on by two clips at rear and pushing the lid toward the back to release) and the left side panel needs to be removed (usually two tx20 screws at the front). Hope this gives you a starting point, repost if you need further assistance. Good Luck.

My dishwasher wasnt draining, we replaced the

While the drain pump was replaced, you could have accidently removed the lines to the inlet vavles . Remove the inlet hose connection and check for water flow. ow check the inlet section to be clear of dirt. Check the voltage to the inlet vavle from the program controller unit , if absent check the connecting pins or the lines for a break. It is quite impossible that while you had a draining fault it could lead to a program controller failure. Make sure that the door switch is working and initiating the controller to start operation. If supply is present the inlet vavle can be faulty.

Hi

If the water inlet valve is fine and it fills with water then the issue seems to be with the float switch assembly that is bad and should be replaced. Float assembly is found inside the dishwasher's tub, on the bottom. The water that fills the dishwasher lifts the float, and when it reaches a certain level, it acts as a trigger for the float switch. The float triggers the float switch to shut off, thereby shutting off the flow of water into the dishwasher. A defective switch may interfere with dishwasher's filling and/or draining ability. Use voltmeter to test the switch. Set the device to the ohms setting x 1. Take each probe and touch them to one switch terminal each. This should produce a reading of either zero or infinity. Continue to touch the probes to the terminals, and press down on the switch's button. The reading should change to the opposite extreme. If the switch fails either of these tests, you should replace it. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Hi lauracrader,

Does the detergent get used completely? If it doesn't it may mean that there isn't enough force from the Spray arm - This could spell trouble for the Circulation Pump (Very expensive to replace mind you) If you use a 3 in 1 Tablet, try normal powder for a while. 3 in 1 Tablets are known not to break away easily, and can lead to bad cleaning. Lastly, regarding the spots on your Dishes, these are tell tale signs of too little rinse aid.

My honest opinion is that there is too little pressure/force from the Main Circ. Pump. And as such, it is not hosing off the dishes well enough.

Kind Regards

Hello! My dishwasher is a Bosch

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

First, try to run a cycle with 3 cups of vinegar inside, run it at its hottest temperature setting. After this is done clean the drain filter pump assembly located inside the front bottom access panel again. After doing all this if the problem is still there then recommended repair will be replacing the drain pump assembly. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
