If the drain pump malfunctions...or is clogged then it will not empty within the time cycle and the unit will time out. the pump in at the bottom of the machine

Check the door gasket/seal for damage. Check to see if the door's mounting brackets are loose by lightly moving the door up/down. Also check the level of the machine to ensure that the frame is not twisted.

There is a pump underneath the machine. The pump might be bad. Pretty easy fix. It was a top load washer.

If it blew the breaker then something inside has shorted out. You should definitely not use it until a qualified engineer has opened it inspected and measured and determined the cause of the short.

There's a fill valve combination on most washers. On the simpler, cheaper models they're simple to change. It's where the hoses connect, it's usually plastic, and there is a hot and a cold valve in the assembly. Hot opens for hot water, cold opens for cold water, and both open for warm water. apparently the solenoid valve on the hot water side has failed and the unit needs to be replaced.

Loss of the ground prong on the plug can lead to issues with stray currents that can cause the failure that you describe. check plastic hose out side of tub to pressure switch
if ok replace pressure switch

had similiar problem , there was a piece of clothing stuck in a drain hose

if you can get to the valve, disconnect the molex to the solenoid and if the water stops you have a control problem if it does not then the valve is bad

this is most likely to be upper control board/located in the top of dryer

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly. It is possible that the coin drop acceptor is dirty. See page 22 of this manual:

On page 23 there is also a guide rail adjustment.
The processor will pretty much go into a tamper proof mode that will not accept any coins you input if there is a problem with the sensor bar or guide rail. I suspect you have a guide rail that needs adjustment. The manual explains the adjustment procedure on page 23.
