Hello fanida. I would bet that the problem lies with the motherboard. MC9060s come in both color and mono screens (as I'm sure you know). Check the part number of your new motherboard against the old one. If they're different, I would bet that the new motherboard was made for a color screen model. If this is the case, just get a motherboard that supports a monochrome screen, or you can get a color screen and use it in that model. I hope this helps. Good luck!

Well it seems that there is some mistake while you replace the screen of your terminal, may be some loosen wire or any shorting in the wires, so first of all please check the wires again that they connect properly or not. Can you please tell us how do you connect the new screen in your terminal?

cold boot the unit, 1/2 eject the battery press the trigger and push the power button. this will do a full cold boot on the unit but you will not loose your software.
