I just checked the manual for mine. Press the temp up/temp down buttons together to reset the light. It will come on again after 250 hrs of operation to remind you to clean your filter.

Mine did the exact same thing. We unplugged it, waited for 10 seconds and plugged it back in. Everything is working fine now. If that still doesn't work for you, the customer service number they gave me for the split unit is 888-346-1923.

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from AC Cars (sports car called AC Cobra) Turn off at the breaker for 1 hour. Then turn back on and wait 15 minutes for it to do its self testing. If that doesn't fix it, you need LG service for the Outdoor Sensor.
